  • The 2023 BMW i4 eDrive35 is the all electric version of the BMW 4 series gran coupe and takes the form of a rear wheel drive 4 door coupe or sports sedan. Equipped with a 210 kW electric motor, the eDrive35 is the lower spec i4 when compared to the twin motored BMW i4 M50. As a car that is built for the driving enthusiast, the eDrive35 is capable in corners as it is in a straight line, and comes packed with features such as adaptive cruise control, enlarged kidney grille, heads up display, and traction control for more spirited driving.

Thanks for the video. How are the standard speakers?

Honestly not fantastic. They aren’t bad by any means, but I found the sound staging to be quite artificial. Harmon/Kardon sounds really branded, but they are essentially a subsidiary of Samsung - so I guess it’s not surprising the speakers aren’t fantastic

You missed out on the iconic sounds! Its just a small touch that makes a BMW EV special!

Hey man. No the eDrive35 variant does not come with adaptive suspension. These are running double-joint spring strut front axles and five-link rear axles.

you still have the Idrive 8? weird 2023 models should have the 8,5? Or is this one before July

This model is still the one with OS8 and is the current one on sale in Singapore. The car reached Singapore around July 2023 so it’s manufacture date would have been pre-July.

It is heavy and handling is bad compare to a petrol car with similar 6s spec in bmw petrol arsenal. Bmw need improve this before the full M can go to electric. I4 M50 is not a full M car btw and it is heavier and handle worst because of the bigger batt….. unless you just want it to be fast in a straight line.😂

You’re right that EVs are heavy and there is alot of weight to deal with when chucking them into corners. But I think as far as EVs go, the i4 is probably still one of the better handling ones.
