I finally tracked one down from a Mom and Pop store for the retail price. The format lends itself better the gore on an old TV/VCR personally. Defintiely a niche market, but it was pretty fun and looked damn good. Excellent video dude!
That is actually cool that Umbrella went the extra step for their North American customers to ship the NTSC version of the VHS. That is real commitment to their consumers right there.
Great video! I was lucky enough to find the Walmart Terrifier 3 VHS yesterday and I bought the Steelbook 4K when it came out! Terrifier is a little too gory for me to repeat view many times but I do like that there's a new horror icon because it's been awhile.
That Art Attack 4K set was my first Umbrella purchase as well, and, I gotta say, they knocked it out of the park! They got the first film out in 4K before the UK version that was announced over a year ago, and they got us T2 & T3 in Dolby Vision. I found it odd that the US 4K of T3 didn't even have regular HDR. T3's exclusive "extra crunchy" audio is top tier as well. So much better than the theatrical audio. I thought the spot gloss across the box and slips was a nice touch as well. Great video per usual bud!
Terrified 3 is much the same really. Thoroughly enjoyable, lots of fun, and a couple of moments you'll really wince at lol This series has rekindled my enthusiasm for horror again. After your review, not enough to go with the 4k. For me i'm happy with the blu ray on this. Great show😊
Great upload! We need all horror on vhs, but lets put down the prices a bit lol I found the 4k to be blurry. Not as sharp. Which I'm fine with it tho cuz that's the point
It's amazing how Terrifier has blown up with so many special editions coming from all around the world. With regards to the Terrifier 3 VHS comparisons it may be me, but the Walmart one looks stretched! Everything looks deformed, it looks absolutely horrible when compared to the Umbrella version.
Im sure all the vhs they release modern day will be very limited that's why the resellers are popping them on eBay. There's fans of VHS but it's a small market for them to sell to hard to even find a good working vcr these days
That really depends on what you go to horror movies for. Because horror is such a subjective genre that you can't really say whether any random joe on the street will like these movies. What I mean by that is, these movies have some SERIOUSLY violent, gory kills, and they're filmed in such a way where, unless you have a sadistic sense of humor, you'll probably ask yourself why people enjoy these movies. "They're not for everyone" is a hell of an understatement when it comes to Terrifier because... They're fun, sure, but only if you enjoy stuff like Hostel and the later SAW sequels. They do some seriously messed up things in each movie, and the best way I can describe it is... In the first one, Art uses a hacksaw to cut a woman, suspended upside down, in half. If just reading that made you uncomfortable, I'd say use caution before watching.
gah vhs shit it looks even worse then i remember it i always hated VHS always preferred Laserdisc i think i will stick with the 4k i just wish my set would get here from umbrella
I own the 4K of the second one, I didn’t like the first one but everyone was saying how great the second one was, I didn’t like that one either. I was going to buy that collection too but I thought, “Why buy it if I don’t like the movies?” I passed. I might buy the 3rd one if I find it cheap somewhere.

I wish I had the same enthusiasm for my job that Art has for his.
Lmao facts!!!
Dont give up👍

Yea! They don’t even give you an option to pick, they automatically ship you pal or ntsc based on where they are shipping to
@@thelastmoviestandingthat’s exceptional service.

I appreciate the effort on that copy! My girlfriend got me a copy for my birthday lol. I still want to send you some stuff sometime.
All good man! I sold it to someone yesterday
Great video as always! Terrifier 2 was peak in my opinion.
Thanks man! & I totally agree! T2 was definitely peak!
The chainsaw in the shower I see as a homage to Scarface as well as Texas Chainsaw👐
you're totally right! totally forgot the scarface reference
The Umbrella VHS looks the best hands down.
Should get sent to me my Umbrella "Art Attack Edition" this coming week. So excited and yes I prefer the Umbrella vhs because of it's charm too👍👍
As an Aussie you should look into what other stuff Umbrella have released! they’ve done a lot of cool stuff, and exclusive 4Ks
Great review mate 👍 I loved part 3 this set was my favourite of 2024 😁
Great upload buddy , massive inspiration to us smaller creators 👍👍
Thanks man!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Lets Go!

Umbrella does really nice box sets. I got the Tank Girl limited release and it is FANTASTIC.
Great movie and love your video!
I really enjoyed Terrifier 3. I bought the next size down box set and added two of their canvas posters. I'm still waiting for mine. So excited

@@andymartin3039 I noticed that as well about the Walmart vhs but only when I saw them side by side, it wasn’t noticeable when just watching the movie
There are only 2 reversible posters in the set. Dang! I wish my Walmart would get the Terrifier VHS. They never got 2 or 3. :-(
I unboxed this set on my channel also. I'm really happy with it.
The VHS is for collecting for me. I dont use VHS anymore.
This is a unicorn review of Terrifier 3. Every version available to buy of this gore gest gem.
I still don’t think terrifier is a me movie, but I’m looking for the VHS right now 😂
I really only like watching VHS on CRTs, so I hate when they're not full frame.
The build the brick terrifer there is a qr code that brings you to the instruction manual online . How I had to build mine
Yea I figured that out after & built it haha posted a photo on my community tab.
Terrifier is good for vhs 📼
Damn I’m jealous, mine hasn’t even shipped yet…
Not missing a poster first one didn't have one.
lol yea I have to double check the website after I filmed, seems weird that 2/3 have them
How did you already get yours? Mine hasn't even been sent yet
Dude mine was stuck at LAX during the fires & I was worried i would never get it, took much longer
So technically yours got sent many weeks ago And I still haven't even gotten my shipping notice...smh

Love Umbrella, but their slipcovers aren't the best. The ones I have are pretty flimsy and a little too loose around the inner case.
@@stephenwilson04 yea this is my 1st umbrella & I’m not as impressed with their slips. My terrifier box has the cases too tight haha
I’ve never seen any of these movies. You think these movies could be a good blind buy for a horror fan.

I’ll never understand how folks love these movies. Complete shit to me.
