Love your wish list for 90's movies. Not seen those movies in ages and if I did? was probably on an early plasma or 2 ton CRT television. They all deserve a 4k so we can enjoy them all over again
Jackie Chan had alot of Bangers in the 90's! I got a 4-pack DVD of Thunderbolt, Mr. Nice Guy, First Strike, and Rumble in the Bronx! Would love a high-def upgrade of those films!

Zavvi have always been a bit dodgy with some of their selling practices. They’re definitely trying to get people to pay for the preorders of those steelbooks so they pay more before WB eventually announce a standard release for the boxset (like they did last year for the first film)
Rumble in the Bronx will not get a release from 88 Films. Probably Warner Archive might release the uncut version, as they've done with Mr. Nice Guy. The german label Plaion Pictures recently released First Strike and Mr. Nice Guy, both uncut. Maybe they'll also grab Rumble, because they made a package deal with Warner.
I can dream though lol I think Warner Archive is gonna release more prestigious films too long there 4K way before they do them on the Bronx lol I hope a boutique label. Does it whoever that may be. I would love a German Plaion Pictures edition, I just got there Robin Hood Blu-ray box

I know Criterion released last year, but BFI in the UK are doing a 30th anniversary 4k of La Haine (1995). Gutted we didn’t get a 4K last year of Wyatt Earp (1994). Was hoping for the Expanded Cut on 4K as only available on Laserdisc / VHS.
@thelastmoviestanding I got the N64 "Golden" edition, cost me 2 paychecks but worth it! I worked at Toys R Us and had an inside connection, a lot of favors were called in for that! A 100% good wrapped N64 and cartridge .
The great Horror Classic "Near Dark" starring Bill Paxton also really needs a 4k UHD + Blu-ray Remaster. Supposedly Arrow or Studio Canal is going to do it ...but there has been NO confirmation release date. 🙂

@ there almost a 100 of them. Some forums say a handful of them are better than the Blu-ray version. Anyways when I found out I thought that was the coolest. I think I read the tapes were 50gb.

Whyle the dvd in package is new dvd who not take over all extra's from earlier dvd. There should make new 2 Disc Bluray where can used earlier Bluray and at new bonus disc. Superman 2 (1980): 45 Years Movies from 1985 (40 years): Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins. No Bluray yet, movie from MGM so that mean MGM/Warner release. But iam afraid if there will release it wil be 4K only release. The Color Purple. There releasing 2 Disc 4K + BD steelbook in 2024 and new edition that Warner wil release soon i expect wil be keepcase release. I hope there will also release single disc Bluray release, that wil be first time that movie get Bluray release in The Netherlands. Out of Africa. Not really need a new Bluray, only for sake that it is out of print. Consider to take 2012 Digibook with new cardboard paper and at updated Bluray disc with only updated Audiotrack to DTS-HD MA 7.1 or Atmos and mabey new looking back documentry. Iam curious or Sony wil do a Re-Release of 2017 Bluray of Jumanji (1995/30 years) because of Dutch-Scan deal. The disc include both Dutch and scan subs to make this possible.

Just found the uncut version of crimson tide on dvd at Goodwill for 2 bucks, and there was a loose bluray copy of it inside too.
