For clarification, The Doctor isn't vulnerable until the flash of energy halfway through his regeneration, hence Rick telling him to "hurry up."

Another stellar reaction as always! Nice job on calling it right for this one! It seems most reactors to this episode tends to pick Rick simply because he’s way more violent and his weaponry tends to be more destructive.
Also neat thing about this fight is that The Doctor was kept perfectly in character in that he never tried to attack Rick once and still ended up winning. Everything The Doctor was doing was purely self defense and Rick actually caused his own downfall here.
And of course, the track for this fight is called “Wubba-Lubba-Allons-y” by Therewolf Media if you want to give it a listen.

Fun Fact: The Doctor is arguably the strongest character to ever appear on Death Battle, since he has an item that gives him full control over all of Marvel and DC.

I love how you always get into the music of these battles. It's definitely overlooked by people not SUPER into the community.

Hey thanks! The only reason I don’t stY to the very end is because I watch them out of order so the sneak peeks are irrelevant, but if I watch the newest one out I will definitely check out the sneak peaks!

Also, speaking of music, Death Battle music is done by one of two people every time, Brandon Yates and Therewolf Media. If you like what you hear in the episodes, the track name is always in the credits. I'd highly reccomend going back and doing that for some episodes with music you really like, both of these people are incredible artists and I want them to get as much love as possible for their work.

Another great one is guts vs dimitri, two AMAZING Characters with a lot in common and the best death in the show!
As for this episode, I adore the doctor and they actually left out a lot he could do because they simply didn't need to. Like the time vortex, absorbing the heart of the tardis, the moment, the glory, the time key, and plenty of other means he has to kill rick the second he wants to or feels like he has no choice.
Guts is an interesting character from what I’ve heard. You recommend his books?
@@TheDJBallonz The beserk manga? Definitely, 100% worth. Beserk is one of the best series, albeit it very dark, I've ever read. And Dimitri is one of my favourite characters....period
