Long story short, scar tries to make nala his queen to have kids and she rejects him, so he forcefully banishes her by calling out the hyenas, but it could’ve worked better if scar went for Simbas mom instead and she told nala to get help
You should check out the Broadway version because they put that in there! The song is called “The Madness of King Scar” and it’s seriously so good! It makes the story have way more levels and it in my opinion it’s one of the best songs!
