@Sardo Numspa uh no.....
Wasn’t an insurance claim those cars are worth more than that house he is living in probably couldn’t keep paying the notes on them but didn’t want to give them up so he had them so-called stolen so he could claim them on insurance and get them paid off then take them to a chop shop change some numbers and colors get some “new paperwork “ produce some bill of sales to show they were bought used and finito done and done. Haha, exactly!
I don’t even leave the keys in our cars when parked inside our garages.
Had a neighbor a few years ago get their vehicle stolen out of their garage. The suspects were able to open the closed garage door from the outside by using a metal coat hanger, then they would try to hook it onto that manual pull rope (usually a red color rope), and we’re able to open it and stole her vehicle. Luckily they were able to recover her vehicle.
Good one mat
And these guys just happened to know the keys would be in the cars? 🤔. More to the story I think.
You don't have to know. It's just common sense to look for one. It's like those women who get their purses snatched at gas stations. The thief doesn't have to know the car is unlocked. He just goes for it knowing there are some lazy people in this world.

yeah because of the personal GPS he had. if not it would’ve taken longer or possibly gone for good.
In 1975 my uncle had a better anti-theft device than all these smart chips, GPS and alarms put together. It was a fuel kill-off switch in a hidden place. The thieves would steal his car and run out of fuel 1 block away. The kill switch did not let fuel pass to the engine.
In Europe we have little buttons that are hidden anywhere in car and only u know it where its at since u install it ur self, have to press that button first before car ever turns on

Something don't add up. Someone knew that they always leave their keys in their car. Maybe next time you try to pull a scam, don't do it with a car that has GPS. Nobody is that stupid. In fact the headline should read, "Stupid people always leave their keys in car."
Or even better, bedroom so close too car that it allows it to be open, Because Keys in bedroom. I own a 1999 f150 and if I lose my key, it cost me over $200 to replace my key because it has a chip in it. You have to slip the chip into the hole for it to work, like sex.
Why like sex you ask? If you are keyless you get F%&ked virtually.
@@MarioFGarcia Agree with your first comment, then you started talking nonsense. I don’t know what bedroom you are talking about, but the key must be detected INSIDE the car in order for it to start. “Keyless entry” doesn’t mean you don’t need the key. It works by detecting the proximity of the key to allow you to unlock or lock the car without pulling it out, but the key must be in the car to start regardless.
The thieves actually weren’t stupid from what the news report said they knew that a gps was built into the cars and they were able to disable it but he put his own gps device in there
