Awesome information, I have 2 cars with leather interiors, and it helps a lot, you make it easier to understand, and with the kit, you can do it yourself, 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Does this reacconditions leather, cause I have leather reconditioning, to apply once ir*s cleaned, to keep the leather nice & soft, not dull & hard.
@@enriquelopez9124 We have a Leather Protection Cream that will help condition (and protect) the leather. For leather that is old and dry, we also have a Leather Revive.
That's one heck of a job, if you just showed the seat first then you showed the scuff / tear mark I doubt I'd ever notice where it was.
Just incase, where can you buy leather touch up kits from in the UK please?
my balm should be in today! Can't wait to repair my couch set❤
Have used this exact product It does works very well! and is super simple indeed like magic I can recommend. They were very helpful and honest on the phone for my larger project a Mercedes interior. I am a very happy bunny! thank you !
Amazing! Does it work just as well on light cream coloured leather?
Hi! yes it does :)
Wrinkles can be reduced with a good clean - often it just natural creases being held open by dirt. So when you clean out the dirt, you remove the wrinkles.
Hi, glad you like the video. Yes, the products can be used on vinyl.
where to find the top finish clear coat any link please
Brilliant
Absolutely AMAZING!! Great video!!
I have a lambskin white leather hat that needs a repair, how much would you charge too send it in and have you professionally do the labor to fix it? I trust your experience over me buying this kit and having a mal practice
Hi,
The repaired area will react to wear & tear in the same way that the other leather does. It is the same type of colour being applied to the leather that is applied in the tannery. Once dried the colour will not come off onto your clothes.
If the leather is cracked you need to fill the cracks first and then apply the colour. We do the Heavy Filler for areas that aren't flexed much or for small cracking or the flexifil for heavy use areas (e.g. seat base) or for areas of extensive cracking
Does it work on a door?
excellent tutorial thank you. I now have the knowledge and support of your video to try this on my leather seats thank you
No problem! Just let us know if you need any further advice or support.
Is there anyway that the color would come off on clothes like when it’s hot or when it gets old or when I’m wearing white or something
Hi, the colour we provide is self sealing meaning once this has cured, it will not remove onto clothes. Even with high temperatures or wearing light colours.
Looks like a great product, how much is it?
Thanks, the link to the website is in the Video Description. The company is Furniture Clinic.
Well done.👌🏽
@slickrick3010 Generally dirt holds the wrinkles open making them look worse than they are. A good clean with a brush will greatly reduce the wrinkles.
This looks just what I was searching for.
Wow great repair and the kit looks good. Ive been looking at a lot of other kits and they dont look anywhere near as good. Just ordered a kit 🙌🏻
cant wait to try a repair and dye to our boat armrest!
Very helpful and well presented! Thanks kindly.
excellent product and demo
Anything for a brown polyester fabric couch? I got this $1000 recliner couch from Costco a few days ago that my cat is already starting to frigging scratch. I guess the material can withstand pets more than leather and maybe even regular fabric, but it's going to look like crap in a year at this pace. We ordered covers to try, but more damage is done daily while we wait. Would be great if I can find something for it.
Oh ok and my car leather interior is sort of grey (company calls it pewter) is this possible to fix still?
I love Nick's spelling skills!
Will this work on Faux Leather also?
Thanks
Would it work on a leather jacket just as well?
yes it will work on a leather jacket just as well. It works fine on all types of leather.
Yes, it will work on faux leather, vinyl and soft plastics; as well as leather!
Thank you!
Will this product work well with bonded leather?
Hi, this is done using a Leather Touch Up Kit from Furniture Clinic.
Hi I carry out car seat repairs in South Wales, how much do you charge for the flexible leather filler?
Perfect skilled tutorial. Thank you
Thanks for the help man! May i ask what brand you were using?
That is awesome! Ordering now!
Very nice job with this video...and thanks!
No problem, let us know how you get on!
Thank you, I have ordered a kit.
Let us know how it goes!
HyadumHH how did it go ?
super awesome vid! looks great - i'll buy one today
DO you ship to the U.S.
That's great work. Will this repair hold up to cleaning?
Yes definitely! The finish is usually stronger than the manufacturers finish so it will hold up as well as the rest of the leather colour, probably slightly better
Awesome walk through!
Thanks for watching! There really is far more that you can do to repair leather than commonly thought. If you have a rip, tear, cat scratches, colour loss, scuffs, scratches or fading, the chances are you can repair it. You just need the right products and a bit of effort!
HI, Yes we offer delivery to the USA by FedEx. With the priority service it will get to you the next day.
Its delicate work and will take a bit of time, but you can do this using our Fabricolour product and a fine paintbrush. Just add the colourant as if you were painting it in very thin coats directly on to the stitching. Take care to remove any unwanted Fabricolour from the steering wheel around the stitching. Good luck!
Hi,
Can you ship it to Bahrain?
Nice work.
Hi, i cant find this kit on your website. i have a honda steering wheel and the gloss paint is flaking off the top. will this technique fix it? if so what do i need from your site?
Amazing! It actually looks better than the rest of the leather. Btw is there any way to reduce the look of wrinkles in leather seats and to maybe make the leather feel softer?
If your car is relatively recent (2000s and sooner), the leather is most likely painted in aniline, which seals it off and creates something like a plastic seal (yes, this also makes the leather maintenance free, as its non-porous so all you got to do is just keep it clean), so you can make the leather softer and "grippier" with lye by removing that aniline coat and exposing just the leather and its dye.
But beware, it will also take some of the coloring off and if you're not careful it can reveal the brownish leather color underneath. I did this to my driver seat on my 2008 E-Class as it was too slippery when breaking or taking sharp turns. I used some household lye spray on the leather, leave it on for 30 seconds, then wipe and wipe with a microfiber cloth with lots of water and rinse and repeat to get it all out, then dry well. Don't panic if you see tinny colored bits getting scrubbed off, that's the aniline superficial layer. The paint layer will be tinner and the leather will feel softer but also substantially more grippy. Its definitely a better driving experience, even if its a bit harder to get out of the car lol.
Thanks for video, wish you where over here in Illinois.

Hi there! Nice vid!
I'm wondering if you can ship your Leather touch up kit to sweden? Please answer :)
+Dr Dree Yes we do, just select Sweden it when you get the the checkout on our main site - www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/
Yes, the colour doesn't matter......all products will repair the damage regardless of the colour.
Just curious, if the leather you're repairing has a slight texture and sanding removes it and makes it smooth, won't it stand out? Or is there somewhere in the process where the texture is added to the sanded spot?
Hi,
Indeed, with many items this is not an issue, but in in some cases, sanding a leather that has a grain pattern to it can cause it to look flat. in order to combat this, before applying the Colourant and Finish to the item, you can use a grain pad (our two part grain copier system can be used to produce this) to imprint a natural grain pattern into the filler before it has fully cured. Or alternatively, it can be recreated using a product we offer called Grain Repair (can be more time consuming and relies on the skill and the eye of the user, but can get some great results also).
In some cases it is even possible to blend the area with the rest of the leather by massaging, scrunching and flexing the area once it has had time to fully cure. Our products are water based, flexible and have been designed to withstand this kind of action. This often puts enough of the natural pattern back into the leather to blend it with the surrounding area, but will not recreate the grain in the way that the two products mentioned will.
Hope this helps,
Kind Regards,

Hi
The kit in this video is the Leather Touch Up Kit and can be found in the Leather Repair section of our website, accessed from the left hand nav bar. The kit will cover an area around 10cm x 10cm in size. If your steering wheel has damage amounting to this then the Touch Up Kit will be ideal.
For larger areas, I’d recommend the Leather Colourant Kit, this can be found on the Leather Dyes& Restoration section of our site.
Hi,
It is £24.95 + postage
looks good but you used more than one sponge doing the process when the kit only supplies one
you can just spray paint it then apply polish .. done !
nice video thanks! :)
Nice
Use a spatchela with heavy filla to repair letha cola. :)

The process is actually quicker than you may think, especially after you have done it once or twice and are confident in what you are doing. If you are unsure about doing it yourself, or just don't have time, we always recommend hiring a professional repair technician to carry out the repair for you.
Let us know if you need any help or advice.
Thanks!
Wow
i dont even have leather; i just wanted to see the process.

Real Life Photoshop :-)
Hi,
Our products have been used to repair, restore and maintain leather car interiors (and any other leather item!) for almost 10 years. Professionals and public alike use our products to achieve the results that you see, we not only promote our own examples, but those of our customers also, it really is a fairly easy process to achieve professional quality repairs!
We would never produce a video that had been altered to make it appear like the results achieved are better than they actually were. We are not that kind of company and we simply have no reason to do so, the results speak for themselves. If you have an issue with your leather interior, give the products a try and follow the steps shown, you will be pleasantly surprised!
Hope this helps.
The Customer Care Team,
Furniture Clinic.
FurnitureClinic I don't think he meant to imply that the video was fake, just that it's like using a photoshop 'touch up brush' in real life. I'd say it's a compliment :)
acleansweep
that´s right :)
akaDJLama acleansweep Ahh, we see what you meant now! People often are not aware of just how much can be done to repair leather and some have degree of scepticism before they see it for themselves, we apologise for the mix-up.
Thanks for the compliment! The repairs that can be achieved can often hide damage to the point where it is almost perfectly matched to the surrounding area.Let us know if you need any help, advice or information regarding caring for or repairing leather, we are always happy to help!
Kind Regards,
The Customer Care Team,
Furniture Clinic.
