We were walking in and I saw that there was a cop waiting to be buzzed in. I quickly turned around with my kid and walked away to a safe area b/c 1) Why is a cop showing up? Was a lockdown put in place while we were outside and we didn't hear it over the microphone? or 2) Was this an actual cop, or a person in a cop's uniform with an actual gun? I was not going to be the one to swipe him in, I didn't want to play Hero/Fool at this. My one job at that moment was to keep the one child I had with me safe and to text my co-workers to see what was going on and if I needed to call for help (it ended up being nothing, some weirdo was hanging around one of the jr high or high schools and they were sending cops around all of the schools in the district to just "check", I also spotted his car a moment later (I didn't before because it wasn't in the front of the building like one usually would be, but just in the parking lot, and they didn't have their lights flashing when they entered)

Had she not done this, I can almost assure you anyone in that hall would've gotten flanked from behind after the attacker made entry. Glad the cop's lies were finally exposed by not acting putting 'officer safety' ahead of all those kids and teachers. Those who share the thin 'yellow' line of cowardice. The shooter continued taunting police from inside the room to come get him but none of them would and chose to pretend like they didn't hear him talking can be heard in the hallway video grainy audio using headphones as police acknowledged to one another hearing him is unbelievable as kids call-out for them to come rescue them for which they did not until BORTAC arrived, also waiting too long to make entry. {How sad!!!}

      So much wrong with what you said. The shooter never taunted police. A lot of bodycam footage has been released which has better audio and you never hear that. You don't hear kids yell out to be rescued. Please stop making stuff up, you are as bad ad the police saying this lady let the shooter in. At least the police admit the information was wrong. I bet you are to much of a coward to admit that you got the information wrong.

For her trying to get help within seconds of the car crashing and for trying to get help because there is an active shooter. She did the right thing. She went beyond the average person. Her first though was obviously her duty of care and not herself.
