Why is the market I live in so different to everything on youtube? Like dude finds a porsche on a junkyard in almost perfect condition with dust on it. Like you wash the rims there is literally 0 scratches on it. Here, this porsche is being sold for 17k €, there is no wheels, the exhaust is going through the cabin, there is a midget living in the boot, and the windows are garbage bags - listed as "barely used"

Too bad parts for the engine cost 2 arms and 2 legs. Ive seen some parked around my town but they are money pits in my opinion. Came out beautiful. Makes me wanna clean my car now.
Yeah, a good one might be, but this is not a good one. This is just an early 944, not even a 944S. Fun car to drive, looks great, but definitely the least desirable of the 944 series. Plus, this one has a burned out engine compartment, plus the paint, plus everything else you'll find while repairing/restoring. So to bring that back is probably worth more than the car would be at the end of the rebuild. Still, I love these, and would totally buy that car as is. For maybe $4k.
SHOULD OF JUST RIPPED INSIDE OUT,CARPET, SEATS,BACK SEATS, DOOR PANELS, ALL MOLDING,,ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED TO PULL THE INSIDES. THEN OUTSIDE CAR ON JACKS, TIRES OFF,OPEN HOOD, THEN A SPRAY OF 2 GALLON SPRAYER WITH DAWN SOAP ALL OVER ENGINE, WHEEL WELLS, AND UNDERNEATH IT

Had a 944 S2 among others...it gained so much worth, even with the high price for spare parts, i made quite some money after 10 years.
