Petra at it's finest. For me this member line up was what made Petra the best band for it's time. When Bob stepped out followed by Cates and Lowry the band should of retired then. I'm sure the line up after this group touched many lives, but musically this was the best Petra band.

I agree completely, I think many of us think that the Schlitt-Hartman-Weaver-Cates-Lawry combo was the best Petra line-up ever, and when Bob left they should took a break, and start again in "Jekyll and Hyde"
One problem with this video ... where is the rest of the concert?? The best Christian band that ever existed! Also, I would put this keyboardist up against any other. He is so good at what he does! Just look at his hands at 2:31.
Well, I keep seeing everyone saying this was the best version of the band and best era. I kindly disagree. There was no one better than Greg X Volz. The tour for Beat The System was stellar. His voice was on fire. It's too bad it went away from him. As did John's. He stayed too long. Greg left on top after their best album. All I can say is if you need any reasons to back up my claim. Just listen to Adonai. Man those high notes. But we're all entitled to our opinions tho 🤷♂️
