If only we could know how ignorant and incomplete bullies and attacking people really are. I pity them now but a lot of grief could have been spared. That's how life goes, I guess, we grow in wisdom.
Thank God for Petra. They have so many songs that brought me back to the Bible when I was in trouble. I feel that this is what Christian music should be about. A clear unambiguous message of God's will! Thank you!
Counsel of the Holy is awesome. A Bible school lecturer suggested Holy was the Sum total of all Gods attributes ie Love, light, Righteous, yet Compassionate, forgiving, gentle and kind, not willing any should perish, so hurry up and get saved if not already. I look forward to heaven with you

On Fire was one of the 2 best hard rock/borderline metal albums they ever put out. This Means War was the other one . I will miss this band too,but so glad that most of their music is still readily available unike some of the earlier christian groups like Mylon Lafavre and even bryan Duncan in his heavier years.

I'm a atheist but I really like this group, their music is fantastic. I like Stryper too. This is the reason, heavy metal and rock isn't from the Demon and it isn't a bad music. Tolerance.

@coloradostate12 Thats quite an attestation to their music, because that's what real, anointed praise and worship music is supposed to do. I agree with you. I've been lifted up by their music countless times.

Shortly after this song was released, I had a dream that former lead singer, Greg Volz, returned to the band and not only sang this song, but was also playing a keyboard which resembled an harpsichord (I never heard of Volz playing keyboards, only guitar, percussion and drums).
When I was growing up I would be listening to this or some other christian band at school and someone would ask me who it was and if they could borrow it. They always would come back to me and ask who the band was and why they never heard of them. As soon I said they were christian the band would suck. But until that point they always loved the bands.
