    Why do I even watch this? I got no nails and have given up ever learning to play the guitar for the same reason. Well, let's continue! She is so charming and a great teacher, apart form being a MAESTRA on the guitar! I hope, that she do masterclasses at least. Following her channel, which is hugely recommended, by the way, because she produce good content and frequent, I know, that she have taught her teenage daughters to play the guitar very well too.

      @BENGYAORA- 2 года назад +1

      @@1corinthians15.1-4kjv argh, it's so hard to reply this comment youtube keep making it disappear.
      Fernando Sor did it by pushing while plucking the strings.
      So, first, you have to make sure that you stop plucking the guitar strings horizontally. It doesn't sound good on classical guitar.
      You have to push the strings toward the top of the guitar before you release the string by moving your fingers toward the palm.
      Practice that push-pluck motion slowly until your fingers would automatically push-pluck the strings every time you pick up your classical guitar. The same rule applied for the thumb, but with lesser push.
      Once your fingers and thumb do that, you are ready to play classical guitar with or without nails.

    If you shorten the note value that would be rubato which is good to a point because there are styles in which rubato was rarely used (Baroque, Rococo and Renaissance). Although in Segovia style the overly use of rubato added some feeling to an otherwise dry metronome/mechanical like Baroque!.The way you played the scale is not only with rubato but with a touch of staccato ALSO!.That is called phrasing a musical passage artistically, quite warm, with soul and touching, just like the hot latin blood ( ancestry) running through my veins!

    Yes.....nice to be fast.......I remember guitarist saying things to me like....." I can smoke you"......I would just look at them and shake my head inside.....their missing the whole point ..... without the proper depth of the tone ......is empty.....flat or brash.....perhaps almost meaningless......is ONE of the things that sets her apart from most......listen to the expression she puts in every note she plays.....truly a great artist/musician........she blows my mind each and every time 🎼🎼❤❤👍👍🎼🎼❤❤
