I got a 495 that I plow snow with the bucket in wny, I use the brakes a lot to turn. Just today I noticed the left peddle hitting the foot throttle. I'll have to look at that bushing later this week. Thanks. I've replaced all the tie rods on that tractor and when I got nongreaseable ends I replaced them twice! And I'm not that good about greasing!

On my 884, constantly losing brakes. Problem was lack of oil to reservoir above brake pedals. Orifice screen can be too restrictive and others have problems with sleeve moving in hose/reservoir inlet and stopping oil.

Good video, very informative, but them cases sure give alot of trouble, bar the engine itself.

I went to hit the brakes one time on my 574 and the roll pin on the outside pedal fell out. It took me awhile to figure out what happened. My latest problem is the steering motor is leaking pretty bad.

Yea those steering pumps are a mess to rebuild. If you do it yourself, it will take a few tries. My advice would be go for a reman. It may cost more than a seal kit, but it saves a lot of work. They have such close tolerances that the heat from your hands will expand the metal enough to not go together.

I’ll have to look into getting a reman then. I know this is going to get expensive!

Hey us road workers like to get it sanded so the yuppies don't go in the ditch lol great video on the grease zirk. My old boss always said a tube of grease is cheap maintenance really enjoy your videos. Few questions how many acres do you farm? What did u pay for each price of equipment? What do you pay per gallon for diseal? What size shoe do you wear? Why do you use red grease? Sorry man just funning ya I just rewatched our Wyoming life where he talked about people asking how big the ranch was so I'm just being onery. I do enjoy your videos greatly. And I've learned a few tricks too keep it up can't wait for the new equipment you bought.

Our shop is the last one in our district that hasn't switched to liquid. When we had to use a salt and sand mixture in extreme cold tempatures you had to turn your rate up to the max to get it to feed

our 484 and 584 always had trouble with those bushings isnt that 685 the same as a 3230 case

It has the same engine as the 4210. The D-239 but the 4210 had a little more hp.

Our county uses sand and ashes

    • @PAFarms

We have the ashes from the coal power plants, then we use rock salt that all gets blended together.
