Im very grateful you made this video. My sympathies regarding the Queen. I'm in "New England" with an IH 260a which I think is built upon the IH 684. My hand brake functions badly, and so I watched your with attention. It is funny, and informative- quite wonderful. But now I know how involved it might be, so I will adjust it as best I can before attempting this lengthy improvement! Your knowledge and abilities are impressive.
Well I found your video to be very well done, humorous and informative. I am attempting this very job on my 574 and was hoping to do the side route but I’m afraid now I’m doomed to have to pull the lid off. I already have the fenders and tank and a rear wheel off so might as well go full send on it I reckon!
I just did mine this evening. Not an easy job at all. Where I had a lot of trouble at was the little pins holding the band onto the band bracket itself. There’s little splines on them and I had a difficult job in pushing them back in. Did you have any trouble with them?
I'm needing to give my 454 a birthday and this video is scaring me. 😂 thanks from Australia
Good day from Canada I have a loader on my 574, which is my brake! Wow alot of work. Thanks

Couldn't agree with you more, John. Doing this job through the PTO side cover is a trick that would have Houdini impressed.
As Fred dibnah would say “back street mechanicking “ at its best, well done a very informative video thanks for taking the time to make it
Another very interesting video 👌
Awesome video, thank you for sharing

Where in Scotland are you?
I don't see a mention how long of a job this is?
