balor needs to go HEEL and build up the Balor Club into the most dominate faction in WWE
D1rty Diesel WWE needs more factions being built up otherwise it’s going to be difficult
Why? Balor Club is so over with the fans, so why make them boo Balor Club when we just got them? You could make them the next Stone Cold where management Kayfabe hates them and the crowd loves them, but turning them heel would stop their push, not make them dominate.
Finn Balor will cost John Cena the match at Elimination Chamber to start a feud between them

First of all, Finn Balor needs to turn heel, urgently.
Turning heel doesn't fix anything. What he needs is better booking i.e. more wins - more specifically more frequent and SIGNIFCANT wins that amount to something worthwhile.

Knowing that it's going to be Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, why would you want Balor to lose at elimination chamber? Because that is exactly what would happen if he beat John Cena.
because even then he would still have BEATEN cena 1v1 clean thus making him look legit and giving him momentum (do you not know how putting someone over works?). He can lose in the chamber, thats ok. but to lose to cena clean while cena was distracted by the crowd. He had basically beat finn with one hand tied behind his back. Balor can lose in the chamber and maybe that can set up a feud for him at WM but like oli and luke says....where does he go from here after losing super clean to cena? because that just sucked out all the momentum he had after that rumble performance.

Why Heyman? If Balor is going to be paired with a manager, why not have it be someone new that works specifically with his character? Heyman works great with Brock, but he's not going to be as natural a fit with a guy like Balor.
Hi Steven, The reason i brought up Paul E is that he brought up Finn in his promos with Brock and if indeed Brock goes back to UFC, What will Heyman have to do {this is when Brock drops the strap to Roman} that`s why i was bringing up Heyman, I LOVE Finn w/ Gallows and Anderson and i think with them he DON`T need a manager but was just thinking if and whe n Brock goes back to UFC. Hope they do right by Finn.

Cena winning...Balor losing, crowd lose interest in the booking because Balor is losing...crowd decide beach balls are more interesting than Cena winning, that's how they show it. Booing OR cheering shows a reaction which Vince keeps pushing behind, best thing to do is beach ball it..literally not give a shit. I applaud the crowd at this decision. The company NEEDS to listen to the crowd and write material for the wrestlers the crowd actually WANT to see....LONG LIVE THE BEACHBALL.

But Luke is right. Using the beachball will only hurt Finn Balor, because Vince and management believe Cena can do no wrong. If it's not Cena, then who's the boring one?

Finn might get collateral damage but everyone knows how over he is, look at his intro, look at when he was eliminated by Cena in the Rumble...the crowd are behind Balor, it's Cena they don't want to see go over AGAIN and AGAIN...they really need a shake up in regards to how they book things, Vince is just too stubborn.

Tony Martinez I agree only you can't just go out and win against the top guy's. They need to beat mid card's look strong then go out after the top teams. The hards had to wait 3 years to even get a mid card match and still lose there fist big win was at TLC before that they was nothing but jobber
CRAP GIMMICK -
Name: The Janitor
Class: Main-Eventer
The Janitor is a rotating gimmick played by different wrestlers in the same costume, and always treated as the same guy. Whenever a scheduled match needs a replacement, the authority figures desperately search for someone ultimately settling on The Janitor. He'll be found backstage cleaning, scrubbing toilets etc, when the GM says "Well, just send in the Janitor then!". But there's a twist...
The Janitor is always played by incredible wrestlers. No matter who plays him the announcers get around copy-right issues by calling out the wrestlers regular move-set as the Janitors. So if Chris Jericho were playing him his Codebreaker would be called "The Face-Wiper!", Marty Scurull's Chicken Wing becomes "The Mop-Wringer!". Because the Janitor is played by guest wrestlers, typically, he wins. And whenever he wins, he wins clean. Obviously.
He has a longstanding rivalry with the Fishmonger. It stems from a story back before they were wrestlers. The Fishmonger had a whole catch thrown out because the Janitor thought the dead fish were dirty and smelly. Ever since that day Fishmonger has hunted the Janitor responsible, which eventually leads to his wrestling career. Because of this Fishmonger always attacks the Janitor if they are on the same show, and is the only wrestler to defeat the Janitor. However, after the match the Fishmonger inspects his opponent closely only to declare that it's the wrong Janitor, continuing the feud forever.
My try at booking: Elimination Chamber: 3 in the ring Roman, Elias and Cena. Elias knocks out Cena for Cena to be out of the picture for a bit. Elias and Roman clash and Elias hits a finisher on Roman but Roman kicks out. Roman rolls to the side. Cena comes back and starts doing his comeback but then Elias and Cena hit a double clothesline and they both get knocked down. Cena gets up first while still dazed. Lights go out. Lights come on. Undertaker is behind Cena and then tombstone’s him. Elias crawls to Cena and pins him and eliminates him. Leading to an UNDERTAKER VS CENA at WrestleMania

I've been waiting for someone to really go in depth about that Cena/Fin match, and I finally got my fix. You guys are the best, and this video is going to make me check out your podcast.
I want Bálor to somehow, once he’s turned heel, to inject himself into Reigns vs Lesnar to make that a triple threat. That’ll make it a bit more interesting and something we don’t all expect.
Spot I have in mind for the finish is that Bálor gets a chance to do his foot stomp into the chest from the top ropes (the coup de Grace) to Lesnar, but just as he’s coming down Reigns spears Finn and then pins Lesnar. This’ll then mean that Bálor and Roman can feud as it was Finns move that put the beast away?

The best thing on RAW I thought was the Sasha Banks VS Asuka match. That was some good stuff. It reminded me a bit of Asuka's match against Bailey a bit 2 years ago at TakeOver Dallas. Sasha took a nasty dive, but she soldiered on. I would love to see this match again, but save it for a big PPV match for the championship. Sasha hasn't performed that well since she left NXT. Legit tears on Sasha after the match was over. Really good stuff with these two.

Long Hair Ringside is also a huge Dolph fan. He had a sign at the Rumble, was super pump when DZ was 30 and then did the Thumbs down bid when Finn eliminate him. My sister is obsessed with checking what the guy is doing at PPVs now.

You guys say that "You've never seen John Cena act like this before"but this is what he used to do when the "John Cena Sucks" chants first started and even before then when the "Let's go Cena, Cena Sucks" chants started. John Cena would wrestle someone (most likely someone with a push that the crowd loves), the chants would start and Cena would pander to the crowd thus seem distracted and the commentators would say he's distracted but he still gets the win. THIS IS WHY I SAY JOHN CENA SUCKS BECAUSE THIS IS HOW HE HAS BURIED WRESTLERS BEFORE. This has happened so many times and I'm not surprised that it happened now to Finn Balor.

The problem with the way they're booking Braun strowman is he constantly looks like a monster weekend and week out but when it's time for his big match for the title he never pulls out the win it doesn't matter how strong you are if you can't win when it counts

I thought we would be transitioning to a Balor vs Miz feud when Miz returned from his movie. It would have made more sense and given some sort of purpose to Balor fighting Bo and Curtis Axel. Plus you could have had The Miztourage, Balor club and the then injury free Shield........but that would have made sense so forget that.

Yes Owen a Heel Finn Balor and Balor Club run a mock with everyone and even making Sasha Banks the Newest Balor Club Member. Both were Ironman in the Rumble and are MMC Team. If Asuka has to lose it would be great to have a Heel Sasha with the Balor Club INTERFERENCE!
I honestly think that Luke Harper is one of the most talented and underutilized people on the Smackdown roster. I hope he gets a good run with the straps.

Re Balor v Cena: It was almost like Cena disagreed with the booking decision so he spent the match taking the piss out of it with the crowd.
I respect Oli & Luke's Opinion, but I personally found the Prison Cell Door Graphic during The Usos promo entertaining, even if it was Cheesy.

It's just weird that they seem to give balor a TINY bit of momentum and then just kinda snatch it away. They had Kane beat him clean and in almost jobber like fashion, and then they have cena basically beat him with one hand tied behind his back. Finn Balor is honestly a solid upper midcard talent who should be always hanging around the main event scene. As much as I like the miz, he needs to give up that damn IC title to Balor. Miz doesn't need it anymore, his promos are good enough to carry him for now. But a solid title reign would do wonders for Finn at the moment. Besides the last good match Miz had for the title was against Dolph Ziggler and that was what, like 2 years ago? all of his matches since then have just been "meh/ok" quality.

Anyone else feel like the reason Cena was uncomfortable was because he felt like Finn should win and the booking was a bad idea? Like it wa a last minute change he didn't agree with? Last minute enough that they didn't have enough time to change the match structure.

I think they are just putting unlikeable opponents against Reigns at EC.
Elias, Cena and I bet The Miz and Jordan will be there as well.. Braun will be eliminated quickly (i don't know how) and then Reigns will stand tall against these people. The last two will be Cena and Reigns, that is for sure. This is their masterplan to get us behind Roman. Although, I hope i am wrong, and the Demon Balor will slay the Beast.

My logic for balor would be that he will detract from Reigns winning the chamber by being the crowd favourite. Cena vs Reigns as the final 2 in the chamber makes more sense to make Reigns seem like the better choice to face Lesnar...
WWE ignoring the fact that the crowd chanted 'You both suck' during the rumble to put Roman over Cena rather than a crowd supported Balor.
Balor losing the chamber match may be worse for his momentum by having a quickly hashed feud in the mania run up rather than starting a good 2 ppv feud now (against Miz for the IC belt maybe)
one potential upside is that you know reigns is winning elimination chamber, so while it's cool to have finn in the main event, it doesn't mean much for him to make it in just to lose to reigns. if this sets up a different match for him to win at elimination chamber, it's fine because losing to cena doesn't hurt anyone too badly.
now that said, if he lost to cena here to put him in a different match that he then LOSES, then i think it's a real blow
Maybe the crowd reaction cena has goes into his match with taker. Like how he can fall victim to mind games. We can all still hope lol
