Did u spot the sign saying : Nia you broke oli’s heart 😂
TheOnlyBStew when they were announcing the mens rumble match I think? It was behind the announcers I believe
Yeah I saw that, I was expecting them to mention it.
Theo Heal I just checked it out it's at 54:56 and it's a neon green sign. How bad ass is that. Good for Oli
Theo Heal pics?
I did screenshotted it but don't have twitter to share it to the boys :(
To be honest, this was probably the best Royal Rumble, since 2010. I mean, the returns were decent and most of the matches did deliver, quite well.
Mr Oscar. I agree but I think the main event should be the mans Royal Rumble instead, but other than that it was a good show!
Mr Oscar. Are u serious last year was the best phénoménal match by aj and cena good match by roman and kevin and great counters in the royal rumble . This year many superstars were buried like seth rollins this man deserves better
Diz was d royal rumble match since 2010
i agree. best rumble match since 2010.
ric flair last year’s rumble match was one of the worst ever
The Royal Rumble is the one time a year where Raw and Smackdown go head to head in direct competition.
DeQuaylin Irving XD
Damn, I thought that was Survivor Series.
DeQuaylin Irving umm survivor series?
English got rusev chants.. loud ones too! And i feel like they nailed the seth- reigns spot.. is like a husband that got cheated on by his wife but cant get mad at her because he had previously cheated, seth couldnt be mad because he still feels guilty about what he did
I agree but I feel Seth could have looked like he was disappointed
Yea, no disrespect, but Luke always gets half of his poitns wrong.
I don't understand how Rousey's debut ruined Asuka's moment when Alexa and Charlotte 's presence in the ring already ruined it. When Shinsuke won, Brock and A.J. didn't come into the ring.
"Half of star off because it's not in the Tokyo Dome" I know it's a joke, but that is an actual reality for all of Dave Meltzer's reviews.
ShadowsHeat It really isn't. NXT usually gets better average ratings per show. You need to understand that New Japan is just in a Golden Era of in-ring work. Years ago Meltzer was bashing the shit out of it. Also, Korakuen Hall gets more 5* matches than the Tokyo Dome. Nice try though
If you can't see how blatantly bias Meltzer is towards anything Japanese nowadays, you are blind.
ShadowsHeat It's one man's opinion. He likes that style of wrestling the best. As a journalist, he obviously tries to be objective, but everyone has preferences. He is simply the innovator of the star rating system in wrestling, if you don't like it, more people give ratings and so can you. If you actually watched the product you wouldn't be complaining. It's so obvious that you don't watch it. You can't judge what you don't know. Also, I like how you ignored every single one of my points. That's not a proper debate my dude.
There nothing to debate, "dude", Meltzer is just a gigantic fanboy of Japanese wrestling, its just a fact of life like a blue sky and shitty English food.
ShadowsHeat Fantastic grammar. Like I said, it's one man's opinion, if you don't like it, ignore it. Meltzer works as both a journalist and a critic, one is objective, the other is subjective. He appreciates the current New Japan product like you appreciate American wrestling. I repeat, years ago he was bashing New Japan. He doesn't "have a bias towards Japanese wrestling" because "Japanese wrestling" takes many different forms and he didn't always rate New Japan's wrestling so highly. He enjoys the current product just like you enjoy WWE. Also, like I told you, you can't judge what you don't know. If you don't watch NJPW then you can't complain.
Trish actually did do a v lick but Mickie was sort of in the way. Dunn tried to hide it but I know I saw it
Ejecko really!?!
It's a lay
AJ v Nakamura at Mania. Don't care about what happens between now and then, i'm a happy man.
King Rooney you will care when triple h wins the title at fastlane
King Rooney and Reigns vs Lesnar
dolph ziggler is said to win the wwe title at fastlane
hel lo lol
King Rooney hopefully it wont be the wm 34 opener
it's funny how if roman won NOBODY would be suggesting this was a best rumble of all time
Steven Allen no shyt because it doesn't make sense if Roman woulda won.
Junior305able that isn't true it does make sense he is maineventing Wrestlemania anyway
Bruce the orc I don't like roman
wrestling channel 2005 like it would have been shit if he won
wrestling channel 2005 let me rephrase that. It would be way too predictable and so bad if he won. Plus you don't have to win Royal rumble to main event WrestleMania especially in Romans case I think you forgot 2016/2014
Not the best royal rumble but the best since 2010 in my opinion
Lester The Molester...
Not a fan of The Animal in 2014 or The Big Dogg in 2015...😆
I thought they botched Dolph Ziggler elimination ....
i wanted ziggler to win lol i got hype when he came out at #30
Ziggler is dogshit and has been his whole career. No character, overselling by flopping around like a fish out of water. A boring fuck. They used him correct during the rumble.
NTM I hope they do something with dolph on SMACKDOWN!
NTM I swear watching it live I also thought it was a botch
Christopher Ryan Curtis hes is full of charisma...
“IT’S LIKE BEING DROPKICKED BY A T-REX” -Corey Graves
Joshua Gray great line, lol
I loved when sheamus got eliminated and Corey Graves was shouting 'WAIT SHEAMUS' BIRTHDAY IS ON RUSEV DAY!!!' just perfect
The best? no. But definitely one of the best in the last decade, with the most satisfying winner since 2010 when Edge won
George Mike fuck edge. My most hated wrestler ever. So glad that prick had to retire and I cheered when he did. Good riddance.
Rasp Berry wow you’re happy a man had to quit his dream job because he was injured...
omg yeees, i remember poping so hard when i heard his entrance music!
Nah either 2004 or 2006
Rasp Berry you're a disgusting piece of shit, fuck off
My favorite Rumble of all time is 2004. It might be because I love Benoit but it was a great Rumble with a great amount of star power
Fact check: Rusev and Balor _have_ tangled up before last night - back in July 2016, during the Fatal Four-Way Balor won (against Rusev, Cesaro and Kevin Owens) to face Roman for the shot at the Universal title against Seth Rollins.
Kelly Vaters was it a good match?
ruclips.net/video/7OE10fsWXF8/видео.html
In fact, it was Rusev that he pinned to win that match.
It wasn't the best ppv but those Rumble matches were good. Styles match was nice just a little average only because my expectations were too high with Styles
Cena showed alot of heelish tendencies. He eliminated everyone's favorite, Balor. And after that he and roman double teamed nakamura for a bit, which a babyface never does.
Sabih Fahim The man debuted fifteen and a half years ago. He's been face for twelve. They're not turning him heel. They're just not. It sucks. But realistically, they're not going to.
EternalFight yeah I suppose your right.
I mean...did you see last nights RAW...he was distracted by the crowd and not wanting to listen to them when he usually does so he might turn heel at least until mania
Hunter he's turning heel for the taker feud like how hbk did with hogan on 2005
To me this was one of the better Rumbles over this past decade. Personally my favorite over the last 10 years. The Rumble was actually used this year to elevate newer faces in WWE. I am very happy with the results. Nakamura eliminated Reigns to win the Rumble. Now we see the build for the epic at WrestleMania 34 between Nakamura and the Champion A.J. Styles. It was just 2 years ago when they had that battle for the ages at WrestleKingdom 10 in Japan. Now they get to do it on the biggest stage and hopefully even one up their WrestleKingdom match. Asuka won the womens Rumble as she should have to continue her dominance because she is the best womens wrestler in the world. Of course at the very end we got a Rousey sighting. I for one am happy that Rousey will be apart of WWE. She is truly a fan of pro wrestling. Early word is that they are setting up a mixed tag match at Mania with her and Stephanie McMahon which I do not care to see because I don't care to see Stephanie in the ring. Stephanie is terrible in ring. Also it is not believable that Stephanie would hold her own in a fight with Rousey. Build Rousey up with one of the female competitors. First I think WWE should send Rousey to the PC in Orlando to work on her craft for a bit. I really enjoyed the Rumble this year.
Me in 2014: *nxt moves to network no big deal not worth 9.99 anyway...
Me in 2018 after enduring 3/4 years of the absolute shit that is the main roster: I have made a terrible mistake...
I love Adam Cole but Alister Black should of been there or Pete Dunn
Noel Acevedo Jr. Adam Cole is big in the area he had one of the biggest pops of the night.
Noel Acevedo Jr. titus o’neil should have been replaced by one of them tbh
I agree on that
.... you don't mess with Titus.. WORLD WIDDDDEEEE
If they played Kenny Omega’s theme at 30 and than Ziggler coming out would of gotten a lot of heat
Oli is WAY too down on Reigns eliminating Rollins. That spot was really good.
Van Thomas nah Its really bad bc it’s like “ahhh well I could have gone to maina but it’s my best mate” i didn’t like it at all
I saw "I'm going to eliminate Seth now, because he's betrayed me before." And Seth's reaction was more along the lines of "smart, because I was going to betray you again." (Even in a jovial brotherly way)
Van Thomas Luke is the one Who have all the knowledge and Oli is the pretty Face.😉
Tamika looked like she came back from filming a diss track... (I just watched all of this podcast and I’m not ashamed of it)
LucaVonDuka
Lol
That was one OF the best Royal rumbles I've seen never pass 92 and 2001 but very good
I hope Gregory Helms becomes the GM of 205 live but also has a split personality as The Hurricane. If they did this I might actually watch 205 live
Marty Michaels that'd be amazing
I cringe every time Cole tries to make "Shin" happen. Like ffs say "Shinsuke" or" Nakamura"!
Kaioshin lol
I fucking hate when he says Shin
The royal rumble was 8/10
I really think wwe should only send out one person from a tag team in the rumble & actually bring real talent in.
The 6 six man generation divide was amazing.
& nakamura was a perfect choice for the win
Lawler was amazing in the men's rumble. He was really funny throughout, especially when he kept on changing his picks.
I was there...that male Rumble was fantastic, and the female Rumble was great as well
Xavier Hinton so was I. I completely agree.
well that's racist
2011 was the last really good rumble but i think this one was up there with it!
I thought I saw Trish lick her hand when the Trish- Mickie staredown started.
When Cena and Reigns had a staredown, Cena screamed 3 times "FINN AND NAKAMURA GO!" To cut them both off from fighting each other. Lmao
If we're being honest, I personally enjoyed the Women's Rumble more than the Men's Rumble...
I disagree on the Roman/Seth thing. They needed to get Seth out of the ring quickly because he had another match that night that he had to carry.
Jeff Gordon then they should have had someone surprise eliminate Seth, then Reigns could have targeted him
Andrade Cien Almas or Adam Cole I would of liked to eliminate Seth Rollins.
The Coach is back on Raw Babyyyyyy
Alan sylvester...
Poor Booker T
Stephanie was allright, She Didnt bring much (or anything) but she didnt do anything bad ether. She clearly tried to be just a announcer. And I give props. for a effort. Lately we have been given lita, beth, and stephanie and Steph was Best from those. I think luke, oli and rest of you smarkies just love To hate Mcmahons and wwe.
Highlight of the night Michael Cole saying broken Matt Hardy
KingSavage_Gamin I actually went back just to be sure I didn't hear him wrong
I think this is the first time I've heard the term highlight apply to Michael Cole ever... Usually he's the lowlight
TheThoughtful Critic not since he is he is seated next to Book T he isn't.
MCShvabo that's a very good point. But I can counter with the point that there can be more than one lowlight. There can be multiple highlights and as the commentators prove there can be multiple lowlights LOL
Yeah fair enough.
I disagree with the Ziggler/Bryan music thing. WWE built up a great match with wrestlers a crowd all cared about for once in the final 6, so why risk just pissing off fans for a ton of heat and ruining Nakamuras big moment?
Sam Silver why just piss away zigglers return
because he's dogshit.
Ya it could have been RR 2015
All over again
Oil screaming “NO!” when talking about Roman and Seth was bloody glorious
I hadn't been so hyped for a rumble in years I loved this rumble
Stopped watching wwe for around 19 years (no negative reason, just full time study & working full time nights to support it, when I wasn’t doing either I was sleeping or going to see my brother play in his bad, so simply no time to watch) so until last year, (my first rumble back) last rumble I believe was 1999, i know Ive missed so much but i absolutely loved 2018! I have caught up with 2007 (recommendation for me, being an undertaker fan) & watched the wrestlemania follow up, but made it my mission now to at least watch the rumble matches & the wrestlemania main events created out of the rumbles, that I’ve missed! My partner recons he’s not into wrestling but he’s just sat glued to the rumble replay just now!
My last favourite royal rumble match was 2007
Aj styles I was excited to see the Undertaker have a chance to win his first ever World Heavyweight title.
This royal rumble topped it
Well, I'm personally still excited that Matt Hardy is still being featured :)
Best Royal Rumble I've personally seen :)
I think people are going too hard on the "nostalgia" part of the women's royal rumble. I think it makes sense that some of the women went toe to toe with the current roster and here's why.
Imagine if you're a top athlete who retires (from any sport) and after 5 or 7 years off, you find out you can play one more game.....just one...and you have a month to prepare. If you're already stayed in shape, which all of these women have, you can train your body to go 5-10 minutes with other wrestlers who are in wrestling shape for sure especially when u have years of experience on them. After the 10 minutes then yea, you're going to get winded and your probably can't hang, but for 5 minutes you can be at 70-80% of your prime sure (the whole McCool spots were the only thing I can't defend tho)
It makes sense that none of the top superstars were eliminated by any of the legends, but the younger less experienced were....this IMO makes sense as a one off...now if they sign a few of the legends and try to make me believe they can do it night in and night out then yea that's stupid
Tyrant Justice agreed ! Look boxing. At boxing there many "legends" Who have been brought Back for one more match and they have done good.
Luke, great use of "that's what she said" early on in the video. This earns you a bonus star (using the Oli dubious star rating system) 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️
I enjoyed the both Rumbles. But I'm wondering if the heat between commentators was scripted or real. Saxton v. Graves, Booker v. Graves, Cole v. Graves, Cole v. McMahon, Graves v. McMahon. They were on each other's ass all night
Lance Rozalski probably pretty scripted as Byron, and Corey always are.
Booker got replaced by Coach starting tonight so I think it was real
Booker and Corey's felt real. Booker sounded legit pissed.
Lmms13 Even Saxton's little comments took me by surprise. He straight up told Corey to shut up followed by him getting mouthy with him. And usually Byron just sits there and takes it on the chin
Lance Rozalski I've been sensing heat between Booker T and others for months, but he annoys the hell out of me so I laughed when they were asking where he went, after hearing about the return of Coachman I'm really curious what the real story is.
since I started watching wresting in 2000, this men's rumble can be in top 3...
1. 2001
2. 2007 (because of taker)
3. 2018 or 2004 or 2008
Rizul Kumar
1. 2018
2. 2001
3. 2007
4. 2010.
5. 2002 / 2008
Since I started in 2005, This would be mine
1. 2008
2. 2018
3. 2017
The mens match itself would probably be 1 or 2
1999 and 2000 were really good too.. Not just the rumble match but they both had legit classic matches besides the Rumble. The Rock vs Mankind in an I Quit Match 99, HHH vs Cactus Jack in a Street fight.
There was no Rumble in 2004. Shawn faced Triple H at mania while the belt became vacant for 5 months. Eventually Orton defeated Vacant at Summerslam.
No mention of the Divas of Doom during the Nattie and Beth Phoenix moment was another commentary oversight
29:25 That heat would've burned the building down, would have turned me into a pissed off mark, lmao.
Everyone right won, raw tag team was trash except for Seth Rollins...Rey coming back was amazing and now we get Nakamura Vs Aj Styles at Wrestlemania the woman’s rumble was good with great surprise and Asuka winning was the right thing to do, and have Ronda show up after was the best booking Decision even the triple threat was enjoyable although predictable
Thomas Uzmann agreed
No, Royal Rumble 2001 was better but it's up there.
Archit Nadkarni 2007 was slight better than 2001 in my opinion.
92 best for me
2015 was the absolute best rumble of that year.
2001 is going too far back even though your right, it is the best Rumble of all time I saw it live... But most these kids watching today started watching in the late 2000's and were born in 2001. All they know is the Cena era, the only Attitude Era they know is what WWE 2k video games show them
I started watching in 2012 when i was 12 years old and even after that, i like attitude era more.
the rumbles were just the only great things about it, so happy nakamura won
"That joke went down well"
*Me breathless with laughter*
1994 (Diesel), 1999 (McMahon), 2001(Kane), 2007 (Taker), 2018 (Michelle MCcool) . However # 1 Rumble ever was 2001, I never get bored watching this.
Women Rumble for me was some kind of cool for Attitude nostalgia, and do you remember the first men Rumble ...
I think they gave big spot for legend cause they never have the credit they really deserve special MolyOli, Beth, MichelMcCool and The Queen Trish... gave them a last chance to shine !
Entre 2 Geeks honestly I think there were too many returns and that kinda just shows how there are barely any good female wrestlers in the company
Agree with you on that... but still... I love some big cameo particularly Trish and Torrie.
Number of returns didn't bother me, this help filing the spots for sure BUT giving them so much eliminations maybe ruining current roster in a long run.
Entre 2 Geeks yeah I kind agree with you
I liked their appearances but watching them fight was kinda cringe and disappointing cause their moves were just not upto par (understandable but still) I mean lita nearly killed herself and the Micheal the most elims and this just screwed with whole women’s revolution since the returns (except kelly kelly) did more in the match than the current superstars
Even Vicky did more than some of the current superstars
Robert Barrow
Ok.........
The Dolph Ziggler stuff was such a let down. As a hardcore speculator, I called Ziggler coming in at 30 and winning the Rumble due to recent bookings. I was partially right. What a waste of a #30 spot, and TALENT.
Happy Rusev Day Wrestletalk TV
Corey Graves saying he didn't say that when he clearly did was hilarious
Kofis foot was "catched" by Woods and held on his chest, nothing to do with Xaviers leg, just to set things right.
had to come here to cheer up after seeing being the elite
Bullet club for life🤘
love this podcast. always brightens up my day
Everyone after this is over
GO TO WRESTLETALK.COM GO GO GO!!!
KO & Sami Zayn vs The Usos at Wrestlemania for the SD Tag titles! Calling it!
For a fan of almost 20 years (turning 30 yrs. old), the women's Royal Rumble was the right amount of nostalgia and intrigued! I was legitimately excited from start to finish. Maybe that's because we draw numbers out of a hat and it makes us even more invested because the winner takes all the dollars. But, given how WWE booking leaves us disappointed I think we're just nitpicking here.
I loved the Women's RR more than the Men's RR, it felt more competitive . Asuka winning and Ronda's debut just made it even better.
GOAT Nakamura making this the best Rumble since 1992
TheGrimReaper_927 I'm appalled by your reply
the result doesn't make a good rumble. This roster lacks star power which the 92 was filled with. all in my opinion of course.
Shaquille Hinds 92 Rumble was also focused on an entirely different end game then the typical Rumble. Title vs shot at Title
true
Luke's face when he realised that he had been doing star ratings out of 5 was really funny
Definatly the best one in the last few years
Honestly... y'all nit pick too much...u seem to ALWAYS find any little thing to complain about... all the while exclaiming how great of a rumble this was...i love u guys and this channel BUT come on now....
I guess everyone has an opinion. I thought this RR sucked big hairy balls. There didn't seem like there was a bunch of chemistry, and what bothered me even more was certain wrestlers playing up to the crowd (breaking that 4th wall). Yes, at this point we all know it's entertainment, but at least play a competitive part where I'm wondering who legitimately has a shot at winning that thing. But shrugs... apparently, it was goooooood?
This week of Rambling has been so entertaining, please do more
"Sasha is in no Stable, you know why? Knowbody likes her!" "You know what they say, if you have a back Sasha has a knife" Coreys comments in Banks were my absolute hightlight in the Womens Rumble (besides Torrie Wilson)
Damn I wanted to see Jeff Hardy as an entrant. That injury sucks.
Just listened to the acast version.
Do we have to get used to no rambling anymore?
I just have to point out that when Naomi was on the chair, Cole says, "We've never seen this before!" but Kofi had done it years prior... talk about a Booker moment.
I wished they made a spot in the Royal Rumble for Aleister Black. This rumble lacked a moment where the powerhouse eliminates everyone one by one and Aleister Black would fit the role perfectly showing his badassery and putting him even more over.
I had to wait 50 minutes to get in the Arena but oh my God Was that worth it
It was fun doing the thing at the end of the end of the pre show countdown we there was one section that carried all the chants for the whole show and the F Tom Brady chant
The women's rumble was a lot of fun for me. They also made up the fact that the winner was telegraphed by making the final elimination more compelling
I thought this was one of the beat Royal Rumbles in years. The final 2 is EXACTLY how I would have booked it.
I love the 2007 Royal Rumble match! It's one of my favorite matches of all times! I enjoyed this Royal Rumble as well!
I admit it, Rollins' elimination was kinda stupid, but if you consider the fact that in the next match, he basically faced The Bar alone, and they did nothing in the rumble match, it was an impressive showing from Seth, and they really needed to eliminate him somehow...Maybe they could've give it to Adam Cole (BAYBAAAAYY) or someone else to push him a little bit...
22:30 Olie goes ham! LMAO LOVE IT!!!!!
Styles vs Nakamura (even tho we knew that was coming) hyyype! The whole male's rumble was pretty good. HAPPY RUSEV DAY xD As a proud bulgarian these crowd chants gave me joy. On another note, the women's match winner was stupidly shadowed by that non-sence Rousey debute. They could have atleast put her in the match, but no... lets have her come out right when Asuke was going to choose her champion opponent for WM and let her point her finger at the WM sign for about a minute w/o even saying a word...Or atleast have her beat the hell out of someone (Charlote, if you are going for that storyline, which you are) Brock Lesnar style. Stupid booking 101!
Tahlwyn Lich lol her entrance was perfect, Auska wasn't "about to pick" she was standing inbetween the champions & nobody had a mic. Nobody was going to talk. Ronda made a great debut. Stop looking for things to dislike.
It's not a dislike, i like Rousey, I'm happy she debuted. I didnt even mention her entrance, which imo, same as yours, I think was on point. But you just had the first ever woment's royal rumble match. Asuka is the first female to win a royal rumble match! You have her standing in the middle of the ring. On her left side you have Alexa, the RAW's women champion, on her right you have Charlote - the SD's women champion. The way I thought it will go was, she will look at Alexa, then look as Charlote, the crowd will chear, and then Asuke will turn around and face (eye staring) either one of them: "That's right... I'm coming for you, I'm coming for your championship belt. It's you and me... Wrestlemania!" (w/o saying it ofc, but everyine would understand it). But no, instead you had Ronda coming down the ring. Idk, maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way but personaly for me it overshadowed the winner of the match. Because after the show everyone was talking about that, not Asuka. Which should have been the case. That comment went too long, sorry.
Tahlwyn Lich I agree with that. I will say though, I thought it was pretty obvious that Auska will be fighting Alexa bc Ronda starred down Charlotte & right after she did that she reached out to shake hands with Auska which I took as "hey, I want Charlotte, cool?" And Auska giving her a high five/smack was her saying "ight fine, ill take Bliss"
I bloody love Elias
thank you xD
elias elias you’re elias elias while he said Elias.
elias elias Just Elias
fuck off dude
you guys seem to forget when aj first arrived before brand split owens and him had few matches and they were all awesome.
Royal Rumble in 2001 was the best - Stone Cold's last win. Kane being a complete beast
Fandango was more hot at Tyler Breeze for costing him the chance to be the next Colonel than Seth was at Roman for costing him a Mania main event for the title.
I went to the show, it was so fun. While watching at home, you can’t tell, but John Cena put over Tom Brady.
Kamakazi 293 what do you mean?
Luke is being worked by the set up of Stephanie vs Rousey 😂😂😂
One thing that I know wouldn't happen but still hoped for, was Asuka entering the Men's Royal Rumble at Nr.19 or so, eliminating everyone, realizing she's in the wrong rumble, and just leaving (over the top rope).
Nah. 2004 was the best hands down bar NONE! Whether you hate the man that won or not, it was the best Rumble win in history, and it all marked a fairy tale ending at mania, and showed WWE actually listened to the fans for once. This year’s was ok but why the hell do they think we should’ve cared right at the last minute when in reality, this was one of the worst builds to a rumble in HISTORY!
I was hoping Cedric was going to get a spot to make up for his scratched match.
Rusev fought Finn when Finn debuted on Raw back when the brand split happened. Finn wrestled Rusev, Kevin Owens, and Cesaro in a fatal 4 way to determine who would face Roman to face Seth for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam 2016.
The worst commentator comment last night was Michael Cole saying "Seth Rollins wasn't in the Rumble last year because he was injured." No he wasn't he lost his spot to Sami Zayn because Triple H's music played on the previous Monday night Raw.
Anyone notice when the Bella Twins struggled to throw Nia over the rope, Corey Graves out of no where said: "They're gonna need a lot more TWINS to eliminate Nia!" Stephanie almost choke herself?
"She pointed so hard the sign nearly fell down"
That popped me :'D But I agree, Ronda was supposed to look intimidating but she just looked incredibly cute in her excitement to be there.
This royal rumble definitely made up for the last abomination of a rumble they got in 2015
Also as for my take on the Rousey segment I think it looked more like she was challenging Asuka to a match at Mania, not Alexa or Charlotte. That's why she extended her hand to Asuka, but Asuka smacked it away because she wants a title, she doesn't care about Rousey. That was the story I got out of it
