It was technically as close to perfection as possible. To me, she just didn’t have the deep passion and emotion in her this time around. Maybe because she was sitting, with her legs overextended, she might not have been able to go as deep? This song takes some strong grounding to do it justice.

apart from this, she also made a mistake during the second chorus, the studio version says 'there's nothing I would'nt do to have just one more chance' while here she repeats 'to hear your voice again' like in the first chorus, and also the bridge is completely different from the studio version so it's DEFINITELY live.

+Kesha Precious Would be pretty hard to do that. I mean her mouth moves exactly how the "backup track" plays. That's extremely hard to do. If you hear the sound lower, she does hand movements showing she's lowering it. I mean I didn't indepth check the entire video to see if there are mistakes in her mouthing, but from what I've watched she mouthed it perfectly. Normally when someone lip syncs, you can easily tell. Not to mention, that in lip sync performances, you usually make the notes as basic as possible, but if you see this performance, extremely hard to do a full performance like that where you mouth it that perfectly, with the notes it had in there.

For all of those saying she's lip syncing - I believe what I'm about to say is going to change your thoughts. If you listen to the part on 2:34 to 2:39 you can hear she messed up her lines. She sang "[...] To hear you voice again [...]" instead "[...]To have just one more chance[..,]". And this was recorded a long time ago, 2006, cameras were not great and that is probably the answer for why her lips don't match her mouth. Also, she performed this song brilliantly at the MTV VMAs and also at a Christmas Special on TV... both times sung differently, with different runs and altered notes... I am from Germany and i watched that show at that time on TV live in my parent's living room. It was absolutly live singing. This was a must in this show. Every, well some very few and poor exceptions, artist had to sing live. The problem here is, that the audio track is not totaly synchronized with the video. maybe a little problem during upload or whatever, i don't know. It's some miliseconds unsynch and so it seems that she is doing lip synch. But trust me, this was live singing. I saw it at that time and i can tell because i am a singer too and i work in TV business :)

For all of those saying she's lip syncing - I believe what I'm about to say is going to change your thoughts.
If you listen to the part on 2:34 to 2:39 you can hear she messed up her lines. She sang "[...] To hear you voice again [...]" instead "[...]To have just one more chance[..,]".
And this was recorded a long time ago, 2006, cameras were not great and that is probably the answer for why her lips don't match her mouth.
And for those who says it's lip synced because this song is hard to sing - this is Christina Aguilera not Selena Gomez, please.

I am from Germany and i watched that show at that time on TV live in my parent's living room. It was absolutly live singing. This was a must in this show. Every, well some very few and poor exceptions, artist had to sing live. The problem here is, that the audio track is not totaly synchronized with the video. maybe a little problem during upload or whatever, i don't know. It's some miliseconds unsynch and so it seems that she is doing lip synch. But trust me, this was live singing. I saw it at that time and i can tell because i am a singer too and i work in TV business :)
