Been using magishine product for decades. Their latest are of good quality. Currently using the monteer 6500 lumen bike light, brighter than a motorcycle light and even on par with car lights. But i only use it on medium power to save battery life.
Good review. I still have two Magicshine MJ-818 rear lights on my bike, well over ten years old and the best rear light ever made (can be seen from miles away) and I have tried a few in over 50yrs of cycling. Good company Magicshine.
I own a couple of different Magic Shine lights (however, not these specific models). I have found the lights that I own to be of very good quality and definitely a great value when looking at price vs. performance.
I was on a 200km Audax on Saturday and both my front light and back up failed so was forced to get a taxi 185km into the ride (conclusion - Knog lights are utter junk!) looking forward to getting these they look like a great option. @@cyclingunboxed
I’m lucky enough that it has always been working for me. I know there is a way to re pair them back up if you look at the instructions (they will be online if you have thrown them away). Although I assume you may have tried this already?
There is a link in this video to my big give away video, where I have the instructions and many other prizes I am giving away there. Let me know if you need anything else.
This one is the universal colours package jacket. I take it everywhere with me! I usually wait of a sale. It’s full price at the moment: www.universalcolours.com/products/insulated-packable-jacket-black

These are my first ones and I agree with you
That down light on the rear is a nice touch
I do think it helps visually a lot!
Nice review I have bought some today. Extra points for the ted talk hands in the presentation!
Glad it could help.
Thank you 😂

Can you charge it while biking since it doesn't have a replacable battery?
I have just tested it and unfortunately not. It’s a good question and a feature that I would like to see added in the future
@@cyclingunboxed do you recommend magicshine’s products over efitnix?
You didn't mention what type of charging it takes.
Ah true, I did miss that. USB C just like everything now days
We have 3 of these lights, great lights!!!! One of them broke the mount. SJ3D Design makes replacement mounts.
That’s good to know, thank you!
I’m having trouble with the remote not working? Is there a simple solution?

@@cyclingunboxed yeah I now have found the remote with Bluetooth one the app will only allow one to work at one time ?
I believe there is a way where you won’t need the app. It’s more of a press and hold in a certain order kind of thing and then they re pair back up
How can we apply in order to win the lights? THank you !

Fantastic review
Front & back comes in one pack ?
These ones come individually, but you can usually find them cheaper on bike inn
What seat post is that ?
It’s the Ergon all road seat post. It comes stock on a lot of canyons. I rate it highly

I read the front light brackets have broken real easy.
Interesting. No has said that to me yet and mine seems to be surviving just fine. But looking at it I can see how it potentially could
