The winwar installation pop up never popped up for me and i bought it twice by accident once form the default website and the second from the pop up. What do i do to get my winwar to progess after the title it has, "winwar x64."
yo, last time i tried installing winrar on my old computer, it was always rough and hard to understand, but my old computer got broken so i’m installing winrar to get some of my mods back and this seemed really simple, so thank you.
Edit: this tutorial is so underrated, more people gotta use this.

Is the compressed file already a zip file or zipped. Essentially I’m trying to update my saved game data on my ps4 using save wizard so I would buy what I’m missing then copy that new updated saved data to my usb and put it on my laptop. Use winwar to compress it into a zip file then that new zip file I just made should be the new updated version after I purchased what I was missing. I’m just asking if it’s already zipped when it looks like that particular icon with the different colored books/briefcase
Yes, when you see the "Books" icon, it means you're looking at a zipped file/folder.

No payment needed, you'll just get an annoying popup prompting you to purchase the full version. But you can still use the software.

If you're referencing the "Save As" pop up, you can enable this in your Google Chrome Download settings.

If you want to remove the prompt that comes up when you open Winrar files, you'll need to pay for a one-time.
Other than that, I believe there aren't many differences.

im having trouble with this, when i right click on a file and hover over winwar the extract here doesnt come up
If you're on Windows 11, you'll need to right-click and select more options.
Alternatively, updating Windows 11 to the latest version fixes this.

You'll still have access to Winrar basic features, you'll just be prompted to purchase. However you can redownload Winrar to reset the trial.

I believe you get a 40 day trial. When the trial ends, you'll still have access to the program, however you'll be prompted to buy a license which simply removes the prompt and gives you access to other non essential features.

Try restarting your computer or reinstalling it again.
Tried using this with zip folders and it doesnt work. It just works with rar files. If this happens to you, I suggest you use 7-zip. Thank you for helping me
Glad this video was helpful. However I believe you can configure what types of files to open during the Winrar installation/setup.

Dismissing the prompt will still allow you to access the basic features. Purchasing Winrar just means you will no longer get the prompt and you'll have access to more advanced features which aren't demonstrated in this video.
