Thank you for all of the tips. Regarding black in watercolor, the rule is to not use black pigments, but instead mix the blacks from other colors you used in the painting. The reason for this is that mixed blacks are more harmonious with the other colors in the paintings and more interesting. A stark black can ruin the harmony. So blacks and grays are made by mixing reds and greens or blues and oranges, etc. The resulting blacks will have hints of their mixed colors and not ruin the subtlety of the painting. You can also mix shades and tones by adding slight bits of the complementary colors, thus moving them toward black. But black paint in a watercolor painting is fine, as long as it's mixed. Some of the painting programs I've tried actually have a mixing palette, which gives them more of a natural watercolor feel. Honestly, I can't tell you which ones at this point. I've tried too many.
Wow. I chose this bc of the adorable thumbnail, assuming that it was going to be a "watch the process" type video. I'm blown away by this, so succinct and easy to understand! Thank you so much!
I like how digital watercolors are just based on information while real watercolors can soak through the paper's fibers, making the whole paper much more delicate to work with.
Why is it that my Wacom pen won't draw in watercolors the same way it draws in pencil, and ink? It works when I use my mouse, buy not my pen. Is there A setting in the brush tools that I need to set?
Yo, do you know your name "Tamil" is the name of my native language from South India. It's one of the oldest languages ever, that is still used actively And your art is cool btw ❤️
Clip Studio Paint 1.8.6 update has added Kneaded eraser in default erasers. Make sure to update. If it is not in Eraser tool, then you can always just try to find something on CSP asset store. Anything that has texture will work.

Tru tru. I usually just simplify it for the sake of the video. It's a good point.

Mouse does not have pressure sensitivity, so most likely your pen is not sensitive enough or the watercolor brush needs settings adjustments for it.
