Every single competitive match I've won as Med I used this medigun. I don't get why people hate on it so much, its a pretty useful tool. plus those sound effects are cool as he'll.
It's pretty useful. I love everything about it, except for one thing: the overheal. I'd rather have it have no overheal and a 25% or 30% resistance rather than having overheal on the first place. The slow overheal plus the weak shield makes the vaccinator, in my opinion, sometimes obselete, if they have enough of them.
I really wish if this weapon had custom voice lines like instead of saying I am fully charged when you get the first charge maybe say something like first charge is ready or something like that
Maybe for 1, 2, or 3 charges, it's the default lines like "I am ready to charge" or "I am charged" but when he gets the 4th charge he says "I am fully charged"
I main sniper but medic is my go-to when your team already has 3. And I gotta agree... love the vaccinator. It’s at a tie with the quick-fix for me though.
This demonstration has been redone because the weapon's attributes have changed: - Resistance and Über mechanism changed (see patch notes). - Removed 10% health regeneration on proper resist. - Added slight ÜberCharge build on proper resist. - Increased ÜberCharge rate from +50% to +67%. - Reduced overhealed ÜberCharge build rate penalty to 33% from 66%. As this penalty is applied after the base increase, healing an overhealed patient is now 33% more effective.

Since fire is such a rare resistance to use, I would say make it an option that blocks both fire _and_ melee- a current loophole in the vaccinator's strength.
To be fair it's nice to have a consistent option against it, and charging a Medic and their pocket with your melee is risky enough to deserve rewards now and again
Melee though? Whenever I use the vaccinator there's always an enemy spy nearby to screw me over. I say that it should grant fire and backstab resistance
I still think that Vaccinator is OP. Whenever i see medic healing a Heavy, its *really hard* to kill him (i cant find an easy on how to beat the combo). IDK why people say that Vacc is "worst medigun".
The combo can't win when a pyro for example attacks them, which causes the med to activate fire resistance, at that point, they are vulnerable to bullets and explosives

Valerio most high skill level players agree the vaccinator is generally the best medigun. the other ones are still good and situationally better than the vaccinator, definitely use what you like (or what you think will work best at the time) because they're all good! but generally the vacc is the best.
@@Sututiv he has 4 charges. you can pop 4 charges on a single target. 75% resistance to fire, explosives, and bullets at the same time for 2.5 seconds. not even mentioning that you STILL have an emergency "self defense" charge left after you've finished laughing at the demoman who watched his 100 damage pipes turn into chip damage for free
i wish, sadly, afterburn from flamethrowers reduces medigun shielding by 20% which applies both to crit damage & normal damage so flamethrower crits are one ov the most consistent options against vacc
A great medigun would be a (+35 charge rate) that can double up things. with 3 different modes like 200% firing&reload speed 200% moving speed or a movable +50% damage resistance bubble for buildings that also destroys zappers.

I don't get why people say it's useless. It's the best medigun i have ever used. There's just so much you can do with it. You can give 4 teammates 75% resistance to one type of damage at once. At 25% charge you can basicly get invulnerable against most sources of damage, unless enemy switches to melee. I could run through whole enemy base alone with 25 hp and not dying to countless soldiers becayse of blast resistance. It is impossible to get uber partialy with other mediguns, when needed.

I remember when it first had passive crit immunity healed medic for a % of damage and the ubers were super wonky and you could lose 1 if you ubered too fast. Back then it was broken in a bad way. Now its broken in a better worse way.
this thing is worst medigun if your against like 3 to 4 skilled players with a medic, they'll just crit you with their melee weapon and you'll be finished
The Pros of vacc that its good againts demoman,soldier and pyro,but bullet resistance is only for sniper for most cases,the cons are that its weak againts melee,overall 8/10 would block LMAObox
Since the point of this weapon is to reduce damage, I would decrease the overheal penalty to 35%, but add a -20% healing speed negative, to keep it in its place. Also, why not just make it a 50% uber build increase?

This sound becomes so annoying through many hours with this medigun
Every single competitive match I've won as Med I used this medigun. I don't get why people hate on it so much, its a pretty useful tool. plus those sound effects are cool as he'll.
It's pretty useful. I love everything about it, except for one thing: the overheal. I'd rather have it have no overheal and a 25% or 30% resistance rather than having overheal on the first place. The slow overheal plus the weak shield makes the vaccinator, in my opinion, sometimes obselete, if they have enough of them.

This is my favorite non-stock Medigun.
I love quick fix more.
I like Stock and Vac because one is very useful for pushes and the other one is fun to use (I can pop Ubers really fast)
I main sniper but medic is my go-to when your team already has 3. And I gotta agree... love the vaccinator. It’s at a tie with the quick-fix for me though.

1 mega übercharge are devided into 4 mini übercharges the 1 übercharge have 25% duration (8 : 4 = 2) but mini übercharges refills Faster
Actually they last for 2.5 seconds, giving it a total time of 10 seconds, 2 seconds more than other mediguns, I think

This demonstration has been redone because the weapon's attributes have changed:
- Resistance and Über mechanism changed (see patch notes).
- Removed 10% health regeneration on proper resist.
- Added slight ÜberCharge build on proper resist.
- Increased ÜberCharge rate from +50% to +67%.
- Reduced overhealed ÜberCharge build rate penalty to 33% from 66%. As this penalty is applied after the base increase, healing an overhealed patient is now 33% more effective.

Also If you press r while ubercharging You will get one or two resistance plus the ubered one.
Since fire is such a rare resistance to use, I would say make it an option that blocks both fire _and_ melee- a current loophole in the vaccinator's strength.
To be fair it's nice to have a consistent option against it, and charging a Medic and their pocket with your melee is risky enough to deserve rewards now and again

Melee though? Whenever I use the vaccinator there's always an enemy spy nearby to screw me over. I say that it should grant fire and backstab resistance
I use this on snipers, because yes (and I normally forget to switch off it after a round of mvm)
I still think that Vaccinator is OP. Whenever i see medic healing a Heavy, its *really hard* to kill him (i cant find an easy on how to beat the combo).
IDK why people say that Vacc is "worst medigun".
The combo can't win when a pyro for example attacks them, which causes the med to activate fire resistance, at that point, they are vulnerable to bullets and explosives
Its hard to use, but rewards if you can play with it

Valerio most high skill level players agree the vaccinator is generally the best medigun. the other ones are still good and situationally better than the vaccinator, definitely use what you like (or what you think will work best at the time) because they're all good! but generally the vacc is the best.

@@Sututiv he has 4 charges. you can pop 4 charges on a single target. 75% resistance to fire, explosives, and bullets at the same time for 2.5 seconds. not even mentioning that you STILL have an emergency "self defense" charge left after you've finished laughing at the demoman who watched his 100 damage pipes turn into chip damage for free
If someone knows a Backburner/Phlog Pyro is coming, this is an amazing counter to those crits.
i wish, sadly, afterburn from flamethrowers reduces medigun shielding by 20% which applies both to crit damage & normal damage so flamethrower crits are one ov the most consistent options against vacc

A great medigun would be a (+35 charge rate) that can double up things. with 3 different modes like 200% firing&reload speed 200% moving speed or a movable +50% damage resistance bubble for buildings that also destroys zappers.

I don't get why people say it's useless. It's the best medigun i have ever used. There's just so much you can do with it. You can give 4 teammates 75% resistance to one type of damage at once. At 25% charge you can basicly get invulnerable against most sources of damage, unless enemy switches to melee. I could run through whole enemy base alone with 25 hp and not dying to countless soldiers becayse of blast resistance. It is impossible to get uber partialy with other mediguns, when needed.

this is fucking 4 years old but im gonna say it anyway, if you want to get the ubercharge of 2 resistance type at the same time, just press the right click in one resistance, r to get another resistance that you want to get and then right click again

The Pros of vacc that its good againts demoman,soldier and pyro,but bullet resistance is only for sniper for most cases,the cons are that its weak againts melee,overall 8/10 would block LMAObox

Since the point of this weapon is to reduce damage, I would decrease the overheal penalty to 35%, but add a -20% healing speed negative, to keep it in its place.
Also, why not just make it a 50% uber build increase?
slowing the healing speed would make charging even easier, sice it wold take more time to get overhealed, and when overhealed your charge slower.
