    Excellent. I like it that he performed it slowly (really as slow as Tai Chi) and then again, at the regular speed.
    Except for the jump towards the end, this KATA could be performed by older people like me. I just have to modify the jump to lifting my legs high, and stepping around in a big stride but mentally visualizing a jump.
    I know it does not look athletic, it does not look nice, rather, it looks like a clumsy bear doing karate KATA. My wife giggled when she saw me doing it. But when you are no longer young, athletic and nimble, it's already very good if you can get 80% of the health and fitness benefits of performing KATAS.
    Or you could choose to do nothing, sit around in the house in defeat telling yourself "Oh! I am too old for karate KATA. I might as well not even try."

      El karate Febe adaptarse a nosotros. Si somos ya mayores lo practicamos como podamos sin pensar en nada más. Yo tengo casi 65 años y mi programa es de práctica de varios días a la semana. Entreno los katas que sé y voy aprendiendo los que me quedan. Practico 5 HEIAN, Bassai dai, JION, KANKU DAI, EMPI, HANGETSU, WANKAN … y ahora estoy aprendiendo JITTE. Todos en una sesión. Sobre los saltos, si se pueden se hacen y si no sólo el movimiento en el suelo. Como dijo O SENSEI GICHIN FUNAKOSHI, ‘ Karate, para toda la vida.
