    Not meaning to boast, but I was there at that gig, front row and meet and greet too... last gig before covid too..... it was epic... good enough for Jinjer to now be releasing it as a live album 🤘🏻

    Great reaction again guys. Yeah Jinjer is frickin phenomenal, they literally don't have a bad song, yeah certain songs I love better than others, but each one is still fantastic. Just had to follow up on what Mat said about the bass. First off, Eugene is such a great bass player, and his bass sound and tone is more prominent in their newer music. I don't know if you guys know, but Jinjer actually started off as a 5 piece band. The rhythm guitarist was Dmitriy Oksen, and he was a founding member of Jinjer. He left the band in 2015 or 2016 I believe to become an actor, after that they became a 4 piece band with only Roman playing guitar. So in essence, Eugene is actually a bass/rhythm guitarist to fill in the "void" of not having a second guitarist, but it still sounds bad ass. Peace and as always, stay Metal. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶

      Thank you! And thanks for the background info, we enjoy learning about the bands we react to as much as we enjoy listening to them. 🤘

      Well said, that's also why Eugene uses a 5-string bass to give a more mid-range sound.

    • @Module79L
      @Module79L 3 года назад

      @@j.f.fisher5318 - Not only that but also because they changed tuning after Oksen left and it would be a PITA for Eugene to play in drop A with a 4-string bass. : )

    FUCK YES!!
    My hometown :)
    Was lucky enough to be at this gig before covid locked us all down, standing right in front of Eugene. That dude is something else man.
    Also this song... “Don’t let their school make a fool of you, because the teachers may be fools too.” I’m getting this lyric tattooed on me once this garbage virus is gone. Jinjer make me feel how I felt 20 years ago hearing Slipknot for the first time! Love this band so much!!
    Another great vid guys 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

    If you're into the bass sound, Eugene has a full playthrough video on this with the sheet music for his bass part too. He actually has a lot of videos of bass playthroughs of their stuff

    First song of the set.. check out judgement and punishment from this very same concert.. this was them coming out cold.. when they got to judgement and punishment they were warmed up by then and on fire.. but even when Jinjer is starting out a bit cold they are still better than 99% of live bands out there😁

    Amazing piece of music! One of their best works, the talent on this quartet is through the roof. And yes, Eugene is a bass monster.
    Good reaction! For more live epicness try "On The Top" live in Kiev or for a change of pace react to the beautiful deep meaning song about their roots, "Retrospection" official. Peace.

    Tati sounds like a lot of singers. That’s how talented she is. There’s times when she definitely sounds like Gwen, there’s a song where she sounds like Alain’s Morisette,... Tati is amazing. I’m totally with you on Gwen. She used to be a queen. Gone total Hollywood with all the plastic surgeries and such. Disappointing.

    Oathbreaker - "10,56 / Second Son of R.". Less easy-listening than Jinjer. Caro Tanghe sounds less pop and more end-of-the-world than Tatiana Shmayluk.
