Perennial = Usually refers to a plant, Perennials come back every year, and Annuals die off and must be replanted. So in the song "Perennial" she is talking about seasonal depression, dying away to just the root you and regrowing, and blooming anew the next cycle. The poetry of me and you....

When the crowd clashes at the end, that is called "The Wall of Death". They do that, then the entire floor becomes a giant mosh pit. Not for me but it's kinda cool to see
Been in a few wall of deaths and circle of deaths in the past and they usually look much worse than they are. At least here in Canada there's a few unspoken rules to any mosh to keep shit safe and everyone involved usually looks out for each other to make sure nobody gets injured or anything. It's mostly just pushing or checking into each other and most of the times you just get pushed back into someone else who catches you and pushed you back and so on. Just bumping into each other but it looks much worse as an outside perspective. Actually the smaller the pit, the more dangerous it becomes but usually looks less dangerous to an outsider. lol
@@buttnugget2900 been in quite a few pits myself & for the most part the pit itself is exactly like you described. Only pit I refused to get in was Morbid Angel. But the Pantara pit after that was pretty rough. Fun but rough lol
@@ryansalmons5279 Yeah some can get rough but at most it's usually superficial like bruises if anything. I got a sprained pinky because it got caught on someone's shirt doing a ring of death but that was just an accident. Only serious injury I ever had in a mosh was due to the pit being too thin and not enough people to catch you or bounce off of. Was able to stumble for about 10 ft trying to catch myself before I slipped and split my head open but this was at a much smaller venue with an indi metal band. Normal mosh pits I would have been caught. lol

These guys are from eastern Ukraine, which russia has been levelling for 8 years. Check out their song Retrospection, about their families whom they see little of because of the war. Their lyrics are their strongest suit even though Tatiana speaks English as her third language at least. This band is the real deal.

In addition to Restrospection, Home Back was one of my favorites last fall, wish they performed it live when i saw them in November. Song is 2 years old, crazy how relevant (did they predict?) to what's happening right now. 💔

We all want to hear them live, I have been waiting my "next Jinjer -gig" for now 2.5 years (thanks covid) and due to Putler himself - I'm waiting apparently 3.5 years to see them if they are still alive hopefully. Good news is that they announced tour next March or something in England so that means they are presuming to be alive then.

They are good. I found them after being a long time metalhead. I wouldn’t be mad if you guys reacted to Dethklok (heavily referred to as Batmetal) they’re a satire cartoon death Metal band with a show called Metalocalypse and have toured live as their band, Dethklok. I have posted a comp of live shows I’ve been to if there are people who have never seen one
Not necessarily as a reaction since you've seen the official video, but there is a live in Melbourne release also - Eugene's bass is a bit low in the mix though :(. Any of their live videos are fire. Perennial live a Wacken is a favorite. On The Top Live in Kiev (now usually romanized Kyiv) is a great son with a very fun mix of clean heavy and growling, and awesome visuals with upgraded stage production. They were supposed to open for Slipknot but their tours were canceled due to the war. :(

Just a friendly reminder but "screaming" and "screamo" are two very different things. Screamo is a portmanteau of "scream" and "emo" and actually a style of music more influenced by punk. Jinjer are definitely not a screamo band. Cheers.

They're from Ukraine. Tatiana is in the US with her husband but the guys are all still stuck in Kyiv, so no tours anytime soon. They announced a small UK tour for next year with Bullets For My Valentine but that's just a "maybe", depending on how the war situation evolves.

You really can't go wrong with ANY Jinjer song that you pick. Have fun on your journey! It's funny that everyone starts off with Pisces for the shock factor, but in reality Pisces is probably the weakest song in their catalog. Even the band themselves say they absolutely hate the fact that song in particular made them famous and they even quit playing it live.
Oh, and no they won't be playing in September. They cancelled their entire North American tour because they're Ukrainian and 3/4 of the band are in Ukraine helping with humanitarian efforts. Tatiana is currently living with her husband in Los Angeles. They did just announce a new UK tour with Bullet For My Valentine for January/February 2023, and so far that's the only "maybe" shows they have scheduled.

My natural reaction is to tell you to check out Pit of Consciousness OLMV, but not sure that should be the 3rd Jinjer song someone is exposed to, as Jinjer (like wine) is best if you ease yourself into their stuff...having said all that, and after watching over 40 of your reaction videos...I toss all that out the window and say, IF.....IF you are ready to do a Jinjer stretch, where you are going to get fully exposed to their stuff....start at the beginning. You can't go wrong with whatever selection you make, as there isn't many 'not so great' Jinjer songs...but how you enjoy what you experience could be different if you follow the same path as so many other casual reaction video makers do and trot down the Perennial, Who is going to be the One, Judgement, I speak Astronomy, venture as it is suggested to get a reaction not to expose someone into what is Jinjer...not a single one of those songs, including Pisces is among the top 5 Jinjer songs by those who enjoy Jinjer.

I build concerts for a living, so I see a lot of shows of all genres. Most bands today I wouldn't pay to see, and even a few who couldn't pay me to be there, literally. Jinjer is one of the few bands I would and have paid to go see, and I can't wait for their next tour to pay to see them again.

The guy's head is bobbing, moved by the rhythm, that's good. But how can the girl listen to this motionless? 🙃 Jinjer is extremely rhythm-based, I for one couldn't stay still for a moment.
Perinial, Who's Gonna Be the One, Homeback, Astronomy are all good for earlier Jinjer, but if you want to see 'em go all out hit up Pit of Consciousness and Mediator

Would like to recommend you to listen to the song "Home Back" as the song is about their home that Russia invaded in 2014 in the eastern part of the country and the war that is going on now start 8 years ago.
I would also like to recommend you to check out a Swedish group called Arch Enemy that Jinjer was associated with during a tournament in Europe a few years ago and I prefer the "new" singer who has been a singer in the band since 2014 with the previous woman (2000-2014 ) as a singing teacher but personally I like the softer voice more as the former sounded a bit harsh in my taste, I recommend "eagle flies alone" and "The world is yours" but also "Nemesis" (check out both singers there)
I know a lot of people are suggesting Perennial live, I will suggest that too, but I'd also like to suggest Pit Of Consciousness live in Kyiv as well.
Jinjer the best band out there, right up there with Slipknot and Tool.

I have tickets to Aftershock in Oct and they're not gonna be there either. Due to the war in Ukraine, they haven't been able to tour and announced just the other day they were hoping to start touring again in early 2023. Huge bummer.

This band is special next level stuff I'm a 55 year old black metal head have been my whole life this band brought me back to metal after a hiatus exploring other music found them in 2018 and they are by far my favorite band now. Peace from Stan the Alaskan. It's your channel and what ever you want to do Jinjer wise you should like I have not heard a bad song yet something to think about they mix many styles of music together and it's amazing how they do it. 4:05 diving into the history of public schooling is truly wild. The super simplified version is in the early 1800s the Prussians got their ass kicked by Napoleon and so they developed the first mass schooling system to try and lift their society so they couldn’t be beaten again, but because of what they were trying to accomplish it was way more about making good factory workers or soldiers as opposed to actually making the most educated(and possibly free thinking?) people. That’s where a lot of shit comes from, like bells between classes (much like the bells for shifts in a factory) or the importance of authority/hierarchy (much like ranks in a military) and then the early American educators basically ripped this system off when they made public schools

I got to watch them live in New Orleans back in December, honestly they are one of the few bands I've ever seen live that possibly sound better live than they do on their albums. Not saying their albums are bad at all, but they are just that awesome live.
Who is gonna be the one is pretty heavy with lots of deep growls and awesome screams with a raggae ending and a live open air daytime performance with high quality audio and visuals.If you do a deep dive you’ll find they are one of the most versatile bands around with alot of reaction content and their live performances are as good or better than their OMV’s
You may want to call and confirm but i'm pretty sure jinjer has zero tour dates in 2022 *at least in the US* pretty sure they just announced a day or so ago they'll hit the road in 2023 but only europe dates so far
