This was my third Jinjer song, and it's the one that got me from intrigued by them to in love with them. Their best song for me is Pit of Consciousness. Both the official video and live in Kiev version are outstanding. You guys should probably fit in both over time.

This is what happens when Jinjer writes a love song. It's up there lyrically with some Neil Peart's love songs in being so drenched in allegory that it isn't hackneyed, despite the well-trod subject matter.
Such a great song musically, as well. Perfect building of atmosphere, and it SOUNDS as cosmic as it aspires to.

i agree i love how its not explicitly a love song, and as a sci fi nerd i also imagine the strong emotions, the near despair, of traveling such huge distances between stars

It is hard to say what my favorite Jinjer song is, because they are all great, but I can honestly say that I Speak Astronomy is definitely the most beautiful, and somehow soothing sounding of them all!

Then there was the bit of metal jazz, too. You might want to check out the newly released "Sit, Stay, Roll Over" live in Melbourne.

This is their song with more clean vocals, after Bad Water. Or less screams, whichever way you want to look at it. : )

If you enjoy heavy relaxing metal I strongly suggest the band Plini! Their song Electric Sunrise is good and so is Kind.

Great reaction. Always fun to see you two rockin out to this amazing band. And as for official videos go this one is a great combo, musically, lyrically and visually it´s an epic journey. I also prefer live ones from these guys cause they are so good, but this song/video deserves to be enjoyed like this. For more live epicness "On The Top" or "Pit Of Consciouness" both live in Kiev are great and for another great deep meaning song with a good official video, "Retrospection" is a thing of beauty, one of my favorites. Keep on the Jinjer train, peace.

Jinjer: Amazing band, barrier breaking singer. Great reaction as always you two! (Small point: When you were speaking about ska, I def think System of a Down is an influence in their style as well)
