This is so clearly and concisely explained, thank you! Pity that the last bit seemed to be cut out

    My counter cortisol hypothesis.
Young people tend to lead more stressful day to day lives .older people tend to pace themselves more. When a youngster takes a psychedelic the dopamine puts him in a day dream but he can have to high a sustained level of cortisol which can make the mind dysfunction in terms of anxiety and paranoia.
Then to add insult to injury the quack takes away the day dream and ups the cortisol which is balanced by the sleep inducing effect lowering cortisol during sleep. Over time the body overcomes the tiredness and people can have bouts of insomnia.this along with high cortisol levels and low dopamine causes a far more survere psychosis that most don't come out of.

they must be connected and seperate at the same time, either can cause symptoms, or both can, one can be caused by the other.

I got a question. I like to listen to music a lot and every-time I do, I imagine myself on stage playing infront of thousands of people or basically just imagine myself in any scenario where it gives me joy. Personally, I am a musician and have big dreams of making it to the top hopefully so this isn’t a made up fantasy. Would this be considered a dopamine rush everytime I think of that?

Yes but it's not psychotic as you don't really believe that is a real event in your life, you still recognise it as fantasy.

Huge limitations to dopamine theory. Why arent patients beinh tested for neurotransmitters in dried urine? DUTCH OR OATS tests? On postmortums thete is nothing to show these 'damaged' pathways. How about looking at oxidative stress of brain.plus vitamin / mineral deficiencies?
Daughter had years of untreated progesterone deficiency so brain aggrivated by oestrogen dominance...no menstruation between age 25 to 31, high copper toxicity...also easy on urine testing for pyrroloric disorder...b9 and b12 deficiency....pituatary gland so messed up by massively high prolactin, tsh and lh.
Extremely likely v high cortisol due to pituatary gland plus adrenaline from trauma. Parkinsons syndrome from meds, unable to tell anyone she couldnt function on her meds and near autistic/ had barely spoken for 5 yrs.
Any one of these is enough to cause psychosis.
She is now sectioned....again as too paranoid to take supplements or allow treatment as meds 'poisoned' her. And psych doctors think.SHE is crazy.
Its time MH was updated and truthful about everything researched.

How hard is it for you to put on the auto-generated English subtitles? Must be really hard.

That's strange, as a native english speaker i can understand him perfectly well. Perhaps english is not your first language?

I had no problems in understanding him, and English is not my first language. Perhaps, the problem is your lack of grasp of the content or an underlying race-biased motivation.
