Elizabeth was one of my fave people to watch on tv while
I was growing up
Thank you so much for that wonderful compliment - so happy you enjoyed!
Grew up watching and loving Bewitched TV show. Nice to see Elizabeth Montgomery’s beautiful home. Elizabeth gave much joy to millions of fans, including me.
May Elizabeth Montgomery’s sweet star soul Rest In Peace.
She definitely brought me joy.
She is only resting in peace if she believed in our Lord Jesus Christ, repented of her sins, and followed Jesus as best as she could. If not, she is in outer darkness totally separated from God for eternity with Satan and his demons.
I think it's nice that the present owners kept the house as she had it.I could see her living there...
Linda Yates it’s a pretty grand estate! Yeah I’m glad they kept it charming like that! :)

Gone way to soon Montgomery had so much more to give. Yet her home & legacy still remain.
Agreed!
A very nice home with lots of privacy which I am sure was needed. Thank you for the video. Seeing shows like this bring back fond memories.
Thanks for the lovely comment. I’m so glad you enjoyed and appreciated the video
My mother looked exactly like Elizabeth Montgomery. All my friends used to comment on it when they came over. She even wore the same clothes and was a busy homemaker and mother in the 60s and 70s.
That’s so cool. Thank you for sharing
I was in this home 🏡 in 1980 when I was 12😀
I met Liz
And her daughter Rabecca,
And got to hang out and visit with Liz in her own home !
This home .
My moms friend was Liz’s long term governest,
Wow that’s amazing. She lived close to where I am so every time I pass the gates I always send a silent blessing. The front gate is now black!

Love the beautiful trees and plants. Elizabeth Montgomery loved gardening I heard which explains the lush greenery. Also a private person.
It’s gorgeous
The old stars had class. No tacky McMansions. No bling. They had money but they were humble about it. The homes of stars back then were so much nicer than today’s gaudy ones.
Well-said
She was so adorable.
I agree!
RIP Elizabeth Montgomery you was a beautiful wonderful grew up watching your show
She was a beautiful and classy lady

Absolutely amazing ! It’s like driving /walking with you 👍❤️
Thanks Dora!
I really enjoyed this!! Thanks for posting! 😁
I'm so glad!
She was one of the classiest stars on television. It was a special time to be a star when they were part of our TV family! She passed away 25 years ago way too soon. :(
I 100% agree
I totally agree! She was and is the Mom I always wanted growing up! I LITERALLY SOBBED when I heard the news of her passing! She was and is such a treasure gift to us all! I love and miss her so much! Continue to rest in sweet peace "Mom."
Huge fan of Elizabeth Montgomery. She was as talented as she was beautiful and left a legacy of wonderful art in her quality acting. IMHO, Bewitched was her crowning achievement which to this day brings tremendous laughter and joy to her audience more than half a century since it debuted. RIP beautiful lady! ☺
She was extremely beloved!
Lovely house of a lovely lady ❤️
Yea I agree
These videos are great and I'm not even a realtor! I find it very interesting. I also really liked the video of Lucille Ball's house that you did.
Hey thanks so much!

I pass her house every day

Thank you so much!
The house is very pretty, I bet it was awesome back in the day.
It’s a wonderful property!!!
She was so good in the Legend of Lizzy Borden-I’ve always loved Elizabeth Montgomery-!!
I’ve always wanted to see that.
@@DrGariS: Once you see that movie, you'll never look at her the same way again (at least for awhile!)! I found it extremely disturbing. Thanks for the video!!
Beautiful house. Could totally see Elizabeth Montgomery living there.
Awesome and thanks for the comment
God rest her soul. I remember receiving one of her books about the house being haunted as a kid (at least I think this was the house)...I was such a "Bewitched" nerd. Seeing the video of her going down the steps at her home was so validating. 🥰 I also remember where i was (Atlanta) the day she passed away. I didn't want her in any more pain.
This isn’t the same house she grew up in but correct me if I’m wrong
@@DrGariS No, not the house she grew up in. This was a book about her house at the time...had to be around 72-73. Could have been publicity, but she said it had ghosts. She mentioned that she was there with the kids, and they had friendly ghosts. 😊
Enjoyed thanks!
Glad to hear it!
That was Awesome!! Yu captured her real life character which appeared as magical as she was 🌷🌹🌷

I met Elizabeth Montgomery several times over the years, and yes she was kind and gracious. I also live about 10 minutes from from the location of the variety show I also live about 10 minutes from the location of the variety show. The Hollywood palace on vine street, across the street from capital records
Oh I know exactly where you are. My wife and I use to party in that area. Wow, you’re so lucky you got to meet her so many times. Where did you meet her?
In 1977 when I was 16 her gate was usually open I knocked on her door and she actually spoke to me and was so nice. No one would do that today.
Are you serious? Wow, what was that like? That’s so amazing
@@DrGariS it was a dream come true. She had her head wrapped in a towel and no makeup and I told her she was beautiful which made her laugh.
Seriously!??? We want to know more!!!! How exciting! How long was this visit? Did she personally answer the door!!???
@@DrGariS yes she did I knocked for a long time I think she was in the shower. I talked for a few minutes but she couldn't have been nicer. I've always heard she was down to earth and zero pretentiousness. I gave her a painting of her I did in HS art class. Wasn't real good but she was still great about it.
Elizabeth and Lucy ball 💘 will always be with us.
👍🤗😆
That last clip is from when she hosted THE HOLLYWOOD PALACE on Oct. 1, 1966. She danced w/ the men while a chorus sang the theme song to BEWITCHED w/ its rarely-heard lyrics.
That’s exactly right. How cool
YES! In maybe 1970 I had just gotten my driver's liscence and would drive around BH with a map to the stars homes. Elizabeth Montgomery's house was right at busy Benedict Canyon Dr. and was the most disappointing as all that could be seen was a gate to the property with nothing but folage all around it. I was probably on my way to Marlo Thomas' house anyway off of Benedict Canyon and up Angelo Dr. Marlo lived on a hill, kind of a green forest all her own and she had the gate like Elizabeth with nothing else to be seen but was more picturesque. You could drive beyond her fence and around the corner where you could get out of your car and look down on her tutor house and backyard swimming pool. All these projects of mine that I would never consider doing today! Ah, youth. and obsession! I was never able to see EM house, but I must have seen pictures as this is exactly how I imagine it to be. I wonder if Elizabeth and Bill Asher moved into this house after Bewitched when privacy was at such a premium? And you tell us Elizabeth continued to live here until her death...Elizabeth Montgomery is magic to me and I loved this post!
I love this shades of pink chiffon dress with the great neckline Elizabeth wore on the Hollywood Palace as well as on Bewitched. At her very best!
Wow, that’s an amazing story. Someone else on this thread commented that he met her and she answered the door. It was similar to your story. How cool is it to hear about all these things. Wow. :)
DrGaeiS - I feel I should not include this because I would think people would not believe me but I was so obsessed with the Marlo property and stopped there often. This was so long ago and is completely harmless but one time I looked down on Marlo's backyard and found her topless and entertaining her friend Ted Bessell pool side on a warm day! I am not one to jump to conclusions and I was very far away but I had my eyes, but mainly, I believe I could actually hear their speaking voices which somehow carried upward throughout the canyon? It was them allright, although I find my snooping rather embarassing as a pastime and don't believe I have ever mentioned this to anyone but here now in this public forum! If one were to do this kind of thing today I think it would be called a lot more than "embarassing". Just a kid but off to jail!
@@DrGariS I would think you would be in a lot of trouble arriving at Elizabeth Montgomery's front door given that it is so private and you would have to have make herculean efforts to get there!
I miss you, Elizabeth.
We all do. She was a wonderful lady!

Years ago in a video, they said an actress friend of her (Liz Sheridan) a character actor lived in the apartment above the garage.
Oh no way - where did you hear that!
True story! At Elizabeth's Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, her friend Liz Sheridan spoke and told the crowd that she lived in Elizabeth's guest house above the garage when she was down and out and needed a place to stay.
The estate is beautiful! Do her children live here now?
No, someone non-related to her family lives there.
She was such beautiful women
I agree
I like the house!
Me too!
Please do more videos on other famous Hollywood celebrity homes
Who do you have in mind? :)
I read that when Elizabeth Montgomery was dying in her bed room, her husband Robert Foxworth and her children from her marriage to William Asher were present for a little while. Her cancer had so progressed that they knew there was nothing that could be done about it. However her children were asked to leave her bed room, so they did right before her passing. So only Robert had been with Liz when she passed away. 😥
They were in the home but she wanted to die alone and didn’t want anyone to see her like that.
Very inciteful. TY 🙏
You are so welcome
Diosito la tenga en gloria
Who currently lives in this luxurious villa? I saw where Dick York lived. Emotions! I wanted to know where Elizabeth's daughter lives! Greetings from Italy
I have no idea who currently lives there but I don’t think it’s Jeff Foxworth. Sad how York lived his last days. That is for sure. No idea where Rebecca lives at all.
I absolutely loved Elizabeth Montgomery whether she lived in a mansion or a tool shed.
Same here! I wish I could have met her
Can you show us Agnes Mooreheads old house sometime?
Hey that’s a great idea - I may do the entire cast or BEWITCHED!
She also had a home in Agoura Hills.
No way. Where?
She was beautiful

It's a canyon and the main street so it would have had to have been there!
@@DrGariS , Thank you ! She was beautiful a life taken to soon.
Yes I think it very much will be the house she would live in. I loved her watched her in everything she ever did
Ella fue una gran actriz de cine y tv era una buena persona
I did not realize that her mother was actress Elizabeth Allen....she was in 1935 film A Tale of Two Cities with Ronald Coleman !!!
The Elizabeth Allan in the movie was not her mother. (Last name spelled differently) I remember this because I thought this actress was her mother too.

Could you do Joan Crawfords real house? If you haven't already. Love Elizabeth Montgomery.❤
Noted and on the list! :)
I just wished she had been generous with Dick York who was half of her success on "Bewitched." He died penniless when he could have requested more for his contract and she would have been kinder to him.
Very true. I wonder why it was like that? It was sad to see his last interview and his living condition
@@DrGariS I've read and seen interviews on RUclips that Dick York was deeply in love with her and sexualized her. Even seen Dick York's interview where he creepily talks about her appearance at his audition. It used to creep Liz Montgomery out apparently.
A house is a house is a house.
?
Her greatest movie was Lizzie Borden. She played the part so well. And loved her in Bewitched too!
Thank for that nice comment. I never saw Lizzie Borden but heard she did a great job. Of course everyone loved her on Bewitched.
Somehow I thought she would live in a smaller more modest home.
Well her husband was a TV producer and there was enough money between them to afford the kind of house a TV producer thinks he should live in.
Are there any backstage videos from the television series?
What do you mean?
Sadly she died young and while filming Bewitched had to endure Dick York's undisguised romantic obsession with her!
This is what I keep hearing. How awful
It is a beautiful home. Does her children, ex live there now?
Nope
Wow! That's perilously close to the house where Sharon Tate and others were murdered by the Manson clan.
No, not that close at all but not too far away
A beautiful house. A beautiful location. For a beautiful woman. Elizabeth is so beautiful and sexy she has always been my dream girl.
She really was a total class-act!
I heard it was a 26 room house. I guess with 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms that would be about right. I believe the children sold it in 1999 for about $6.5 m and whoever bought it sold it only in 2002, three years later for about $11 m or so. So that person did REAL well with that house for how little time they owned it. Back when I researched it, I think the property taxes ran over $100,000 a year. Can you imagine? The property taxes alone are that much. Your filming vantage points to me are kind of funny as I've tried to google map that house and I also used that side street to get a glimpse of the front door. :) Not exactly 1164 Morning Glory Circle is it? :) Oh, the expensive tastes of people huh?
Wow, you really know your stuff
@@DrGariS That was fast. You up in the middle of the night too?
Why did the kids sell it? What about her husband Foxworth he didn’t keep it? Did he have rights to it?
Her Character Samantha Stephens Taste Is 1164 Morning Glory Circle Dr.
Not at all what I had envisioned. Huge home but far from street and other homes. Seems too isolated. Such a shame to have a gorgeous home that no one can see up close. Would’ve liked to see inside.
Please remember back when this house was built, land was cheap so large houses could be built, set back from the street and privacy was not really an issue originally. Over time, as tourist came to Hollywood and Tours of the Star's Homes began, that is when high fences and gates went up. Elizabeths house is set nicely up a drive, going past a tennis court and swimming pool. Although the house is large in square footage, it had a warm homey feeling. I remember a small but useful kitchen and comfortable living room with a tree in it,, yes a tree.
Did Robert Foxworth keep the house?
I would imagine so…good question…
Why do they want all those rooms? the kids are grown, just the servants and a spouse. How many rooms does two people need?
Maybe because that's what they wanted to buy.
Nice video. It's always nice to see where celebrities used to live at. Barbara Eden lives there too, but I heard that when you look up her address and try to look at her house via Google maps, it blurres her house. No explanation is given, I would assume that she is very private about showing where she lives at.
Always
I can show you a pic of the front of Barbara's house (un-blurred) if you want. It was a pretty cool find to actually see the house where Jeannie lives.
She lives a couple of blicks from me off Deep Canyon actually on Denbigh
Only 10 baths? Not gonna work for me. 😃
Anyone know where she lived during Bewitched?
That’s a great question!

@@DrGariS I've read he was deeply in love with her and she hated it.

Surprising amount of street noise...
It’s on Benedict Cnyn
@@DrGariS Yes. I just meant that even up near the house, you can hear the cars passing. Such a nice home and property, but the noise would ruin it for me.
A lot of us Bewitched fans tend to think the Bewitched role was her crowning glory, but I think if you asked her, she would have pointed to later in her career where she only took roles that advocated for women's issues. I think she would say using her platform was her legacy and her crowning jewel. At the end of the day, I guess she is best known for Bewitched.
Great points
She must have been rich all of her life.
Her dad was well known and I’m pretty sure she was but still extremely humble.
