As a Silver League Zerg, I scouted the Protoss proxy stargate with my overlord going to the Vision Ring, then remembered to build safety roaches that saw off his Adepts, and then the working economy and Queen injects led to repeated waves of roach/hydra the enemy could not cope with. He GG'd after his natural was about to fall ! First ever win against Protoss on ladder !
Adding to the endless list of thanks for making this series. Your comments about expecting to lose in the first video was what I needed to finally give myself permission to suck and start laddering. Today, I won two games that I'm really really proud of--really the first two games where I felt like I was playing "real starcraft": In the first game, I managed to hold a cannon rush easily, and then hit the natural with my first batch of 8 roaches. Was so far ahead that I got to practice transitioning to hydras (I usually panic that I don't know what do after the big roach push) as if I were playing the AI. Second game, got hit with roach-ravager, pulled back to a choke and held. Choose good engagements, managed to do a few box-splits, remembered upgrades(!), and shut down the opponent's 3rd twice. When he tried to attack my budding 4th base, I had so much more that I was able to A-move into their base after shutting it down.
I think the most important thing i learn from your videos is just staying calm. If you get stressed about what's going on you tend to get flustered and forget tasks. Thanks for your videos!

@@dylansevitt I mean, macro is everything though. Difficult to lose when you max out repeatedly, especially in bronze and silver where you have 100 supply more than your opponent
@@flrn84791 first off, very few people even play in those leagues I personally got placed in silver 1 when I started and I was gold within a week of playing. I don't think spending your money is bad tip, I just think that you don't need to watch bronze to gm to figure out that part. I would not over react at that level and scout ovi for proxys or worry about spores. Just macro until its habit and play react style. You max in between 830min to 10 min you most likely win by macro anyway.
The best thing I've learned thus far isn't build orders or control groups, it's how to properly react when you're getting attacked: sarcastically panic like it's the apocalypse then do something actually productive about it. Thanks PiG.
Love you content, been watching your zerg videos. I quit the game for 8-9 years. I left I was Platinum, but coming back I'm like 2800 MMR Bronze 1. It's hard to play and learn the cycle at that level, because ranked is a lot of zergling rush, cannons, and other strategies that don't allow me time to get the fundamentals down. Should I play computers to get comfortable with the map control areas and macro cycle?
Normally what I have done in the past grinding up to gm on Zerg is add a few queens I normally go 6 or so have injects and roaming with creep spread and take your time getting to it all just focus on certain things but if blind against a Protoss a safe option is one spore in each mineral line or just overlords/zerglings around for vision of the units moving across
I come and go from SC2 highest I've been was Silver 2 never heard of the macro cycle before, used it with the build a few games and a Silver 1 said "Thats a lot of Roaches" then GGed
Thanks for this. I started playing like a month ago and just these two videos have gotten me to silver 2 with zerg. The part where you talk about BC's was too real though.
if you don't include the dashes in front of the timestamps in the description, RUclips will be able to pick it up. You could keep the dashes, remove the dashes, prepend the game number in front of each stamp, or have 2 lists - one with and one without the dashes
Does he have inject set to right click? he didn't mention it in the hotkeys but i have to press V every time i want to inject. I cant seem to set it to right click myself
Hey i had a really weird experience today my nickname is Deez and i usually played Protoss before then i started to really , really like playing zerg and i decided yo improve in the game so i watched your first video , then i decided to do what you told to do in the video , in 2v2s my rank wasnt unlocked yet and i solo queued a few matches then my APM jumped from 70-80 to 100 in a span of 3 games which was amazing i got good in the macro cycle which really helped the funny part is when my rank was unlocked the game sent me to MASTER 3 i dont even know if its possible or not or if its a bug(probably is) but the guys below me had like 2k games and right now i have 90 games💀
Hi PiG, would it be possible that you try to defend against a maxed out BC Terran or battleship Protoss (with about 2000mmr)? Sometimes find me in the situation that i didnt harrass a turtled two base air terran or protoss enough so that i face a giant air army and have no way to stop it once it´s rolling. Not even if i´m maxed out, too. Maybe a nice idea for a series! "Maxed out whatever against you"🙂 Thanks for your content!

Some of your best videos man
I always watch your channel while playing rimworld and hearing the sound track twice is trippy.
@22:00 How many injects can you queue up at once?
Your reaction to the air units was really funny
Thanks for this. I started playing like a month ago and just these two videos have gotten me to silver 2 with zerg. The part where you talk about BC's was too real though.
lol 1:23:37 "It is nice to do, but it's not something you wanna focus on...." - Camera defocuses lol
Your tips just flippin' work :)
if you don't include the dashes in front of the timestamps in the description, RUclips will be able to pick it up.
You could keep the dashes, remove the dashes, prepend the game number in front of each stamp, or have 2 lists - one with and one without the dashes
thanks for letting me know
Holy smokes, I was just thinking of checking out the first coaching lesson. Well, that's on the backburner... :D
Does he have inject set to right click? he didn't mention it in the hotkeys but i have to press V every time i want to inject. I cant seem to set it to right click myself
great guide dude!
if you box the drone, do only a empty drone build what u want or also a drone with holding a mineral?
Awesome video! It's inspired me to give up on SC2 and just go play Rimworld.
how do we place 2 things at the same time? i always need to reclick the drone to build the 2nd thing
Is that rimworld music in the background?
Anyone have a link to that event thing that he was talking about @41:55 , i kinda wana see it
When your online mates go hey you totally got smurfed by pig
love the content!
Is there a way to access the google doc now? Don't see a link in the description for it :( @PiG
its there in the description "B2GM Doc"
"Maxed out whatever against you"🙂
Thanks for your content!
Someone knows how he put the build order like an overlay during the game ?
The rimworld music is awesome haha
Just a quick side note, if you are referring to the horseback reversed archery tactic, thos were the huns. However as they are mongolian origin, sam sh*t.
0:00 It is funny seeing a GM so happy to be in silver lol
Injects stack so.i.use only obe control group and buff the hatcheries. While keeping like 2x queens to hatchs
Is This a rimworld music ? :D
I have Mostly Played WC3 and General's,
And when Blizzard Made SCH2 Free,
I transitioned Good thing I was already Into watching SCh2 Tournament and Streams,
I had prior Knowledge before playing the Game.
Gave me a Newbie Advantage,
Have a Roll of losing and winning Streak.
He went lair before 3rd hatch almost every game despite the build order. Does it not matter? What are the pros and cons?
Man, after myself spent like 60hrs in Rimworld this week, seriously? U have its music for sc2? Lol
I realized my mistakes, thank you. I realized my economy was terrible! I couldn't make more than 5 roaches! I do have a question though, does zergling rush works too?
Rim world bgm had me thought off the class awhile
I love your zerg videos on playing and teaching (im zerg player)
