Not sure if you watched the video at all lol, but as I described he had numerous food sources such as large turtles, crustaceans, seaweed and he eventually began fishing in the local reef. As for water he used a collection of empty turtle shells to collect water during the massive rainfalls that they receive during the year, especially as he was in a very rainy part of the world. (Roughly 1500-3000mm of rain recorded yearly at the island he was stranded on). Although it is not recorded we can also assume he boiled saltwater once he was able to make fire, and filtered it to turn into drinking water.

Some turtle species are huge, plus he caught plenty of fish to drink blood. At years end he probably had 20 or more turtles for water.
