@xkonsentox oh yea. i forgot about the x2 machine. i haven't played one yet but I know those machines are completely different than the older ones since they made some changes. i would probably do well on those.
i went to the arcade today to play ddr and i just don't like the machines. they feel so weird and the bar is too low for me. i mean i play pretty good but not AA/AAA like i usually do. maybe if the bar was higher i would play better. the only machines i like are in the groove and pump it up. id rather prefer the metal mat i have at home.
@iamchris4lifefan11 Probably not. Nobody can play on an American X2 cab as good as they can with another cab. And by the way, ITG, Pump it Up, and DDR cabs are all nearly identical. I don't see why you would perform worse on a different cab. :P
@AgentPofNewVestroia The green line is from a CGA to VGA adapter. Most arcade hardware runs at 15khz but a normal monitor runs 31khz so it needs to be upped to show a picture on a normal computer monitor or TV. The adapter is sort of on a fritz right now for some reason and it needs to warm up before the green line goes away. Its not that distracting at all actually, even when I play doubles I can easily ignore it.
@NibblerFox I pretty much AAA'd all of the X2 folder on X2. I wouldn't say "nobody" can play it, you just need to adjust to it and you perfect count will never get any lower then 15.
