So, the Terran has a single invisible unit (Banshee), and when going invisible it uses energy. The Zerg had loads of units just waiting for invisibility to end before all the buildings die and he loses.
From what I understand, the banshee (flying vechicle) had cloak turned on which basically makes it impossible to be attacked by enemy units unless a unit has a reveal ability. The cloak also uses up energy which is shown by the purple bar under the green one, and the banshee was close to running out of energy revealing it to the enemy units which you see as they are blue. However before the energy ran out the banshee destroyed the base (a main building) and only needed to destroy 1 more which was the walking spike. It was very lucky that the banshee had enought energy to destroy both buldings with only a couple seconds left, resulting in a victory even if the enemy had a large amount of units.
Sorry if you still not understand, but if you are interested starcraft 2 is free now with the first story campaign. Plus I am not much of a fan and just saying what I think happened.
Fantasy GG Timing LOL. I remember this game, after this game soO got so tilted Fantasy rekt him with hellion reaper + hellion run by in the next game. Fantasy then proceeded to beat Rogue 2-0 in the winners match.
....what I don't understand is...he has corruptors...couldn't the corruptors have just killed the Terran? Like what was happening in this game where they had to stay at home and let this happen?
Couldn’t the muta bounce its attack off a corruptor? Coz I’m fairly sure I saw that happen with an archon. A player used an archon to hit a burrowed target.
If all your buildings get destroyed, you lose, and that spine crawler was the last zerg's building, being destroyed by the Banshee, who can't be killed because of invisibility. Banshee's invisibility requires energy, which was about to run out.
@@Medhusalem you can see zerg forces fighting when the camera pans towards the crawler; this was almost certainly a base trade scenario, and the Banshee was probably the last unit left for the Terran player
this rule that you have to destroy all enemy buildings to win .. is dumb. If the RTS genre wants to stick around, they need to make multiple ways to force a win screen. Multiple win conditions.
I watched it live. 10.000 years ago.... it was epic!!
same
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away?
That spine crawler was runnin for dear life
he needed to survive and it wasn't even for himself
Crawling* for dear life
I recognised it from the thumbnail. Was such a fun finish.
😳😏
As a Zerg player, this hurts!
As a proton player and irrelevant in this case, I soak in your Zerg misery
As a Terran main who loves tychus I love your misery
Super hype finish!
More like the most rage inducing finish for Soo
Dam that hero Banshee, time to bring back that epic stuff. GG!
Wow lmao, never seen this clip! The golden age of SC2 was something else.
fucking beautiful
Wow if he lost for not microing the last shot.
There was literally one second remaining until the Banshee was one-shotted by the Zerg. So he very literally did nearly lose due to this!
It would of bled out off creep.

Damn that's painful
Split the corruptors, half hunting down the Terran buildings, the other half waiting for the Banshee to decloak.
That clutch victory manage to scan exactly where to spot the last building

Fantastic performance!
Insanely clutch fantasy gg timing prevails

I'm fuken ded a spine crawler lmao
wow I dont remember watching this. Glad to see it

Thank God it wasnt a Wraith shit woulda took days
I'll never be as good as them, but would have been funny if he had hidden the spine crawler under all those flyers.
The fact spine crawlers dont bleed off creep is a crime against terranity
They do, unless they're uprooted. I mean, making them bleed while uprooted is basically the same with making Terran stuff burns when lifted off
*says while floating buildings in deadspaces infinitely*

a spine / spore crawler should lose health slowly while unburrowed.
Don't keep the art of moving buildings to you terrans.
the win con should be 0 supply 🤷♂️
That would cause many stalemates though

Wouldn't the wounded spore die really soon anyway since it's off creep?

Archon has splash damage. Glaive wurm doesn't. It just bounces.
It won't bounce to cloaked units. It's not true splash damage in the same sense that attacks are. Haha. Clever idea though!
