no.... if ur talking about takuto... in the manga, he commits suicide because he had the same sickness as mitsuki... in his case, the doctor put him in an operation without his approval so after that, he cant sing anymore. he didnt die in the manga, he was in a comma, he jumped off the hospital building...

Eichi see them and is sad but then he goes happy to see that mitsuki and how she is happy meroko and izumi end up together wakaoji askes oshige to married him modoka and nachi end up together still the manga was the best alot of ur question will be answer if u read it
