Azurami88 OMG I just looked her up and she died in 2013. I watched it show around 2010, before she passed away and it breaks my heart to hear this. She did an amazing job with meroko. Cried so many times in bed when this show ended.

Meroko is a great friend of Mitsuki! She sacrificed herself to protect Mitsuki at all cost. I can't believe this anime make me feel so sad and emotional.
