The Powermatic80 movement shared among several of the Swatch Group brands is awesomely regulated for accuracy as well. Mine gains just 15-20 sec per month. Other owners have the same experience.
Great Job Dirk! That’s a watch I bought myself before knowing much about watches… the lettering on the buckle is usually black but wore off since I wear the crap out of that watch! I still love it to this day. It’s great watch!
Dirk, vis à vis the lettering on the buckle: the engraved TISSOT is coated with some kind of enamel paint, with gradual wear/tear, the paint comes off. I own a SSPM - 80. Mainly, I wear it when I'm active, which is quite often; That being said I went diving this winter and noticed some of the paint was coming the " O ". Used a solvent/needle to rid the other engraved letters of the remaining paint. Cheers.
You mentioned the Tissot letters on the buckle. Ihave one, and have noticed that the black paint on the letters gradually falls out. I actually found a tiny black S intact lying on my table. So planon the letters eventually being just silver indentations
@@DirkWerning no, it's still beautiful though. the new one looks slightly different. it has another line of writing at the 6 o'clock detailing depth limits and has an etched bezel because ppl complained about the one you have when you tilt it the numbers kinda get lost in the shine. the new engraved one solves that issue. ⌚
Newer ones also have black date number with white background instead of white number with blue background. Still a super nice watch I really like the color layout.

Ahh gotcha. Wasn’t sure how that would go over time. Thanks.
This is the older version right? Since it doesn't have the engraved bezel?
I like this Tissot 👌
It’s my fave Tissot I’ve see.
is this the older model? the newer one has a little more writing at the bottom. the new bezel is also etched.
I’m not sure I thought that’s was the current offering??
