Rony Seikly never played with Billy Owens. Billy Owens' freshman year (88-89) he played with Sherman Douglas (SR), Stevie Thompson (JR), DC (JR), and Matt Roe (JR). Seikly's last year was 87-88 , the year before.
Seikaly was then drafted by the Miami Heat in the expansion draft, right?? It's funny that the logo that is recognized for Shaq was influenced by Seikaly. He copied him by putting his feet up as he pulled on the rim after dunking
DC was that dude. Injuries and off court issues took away from the first stretch 4 I can remember. Derrick could handle the rock, board and shoot the 3. He was before his time, and one of the most underrated players in history in my opinion.
DC was so damn good. I don't think we ever truly saw his greatest potential. He relied on his natural talent, but if he was serious about getting his body in the best shape it could have been, we might be talking about him being in the convoy for top 5 greatest PF's ever.
One of my 5 favorite Syracuse Orangemen. Great to watch when he was there. Always thought he’d be an nba hall of famer, but never reached heights he shouldve
Side note - the printed pic of Bonzi with the headband wrapped about the 🏀 is ridiculously funny and a perfect prop for the show. Salute to the lefty DC, one of a tiny few who could say he put Shaq on a poster…with the left hand at that.
I Definitely Remember That,After That,We Called Him,Big Sassy,FRFR,Lol!!!!! I Remember Being A Little Kid In Detroit,He Was A Dog,I Was In Elementary School When He Was At Syracuse,And I'm 46 Now!!!
DC is a real one. Ben Wallace sucker punched Eric Snow in the parking lot after the game. When DC found out, he went to the airport to try to catch The Detroit team
Sheed is one of the coolest and thoroughlest dudes you can ever meet i met him at the Copa Cabana at 4th & South Street back in 2010 when he was playing with the Pistons he started with 30 shots and said okay all this is for Will nobody better not touch nothing then bust out laughing lol

DC was the most talented Power Forward in the 90s.
It's a shame he never reached his full potential.
It’s a shame he was so lazy and fat. He had everything to be a top 10 PF in skillset.
Malone, Barkley, and Grandmama were all better
Bad knees.
@James-ui4ed better for sure, but D.C. had way more potential !
DC was one of my favorite players especially when he was with the Nets.
Him and Kenny Anderson was a nice duo
@spenser6353 imagine if drazn petrovic didn't pass away they were tough

Official throwback: DC had a shoe store back in 2007 on Linwood. Sheed did his official AF1 colorway release at that store.
Sheed was 1 of my favorite players loved his game from day1, even back in his college days in N.C 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿

DC always put on for the D. Lived in the hood with all those millions. 💯
Sheed abit lit ? Haha 😂
Rasheed nailed it, Derrick Coleman was a 5 tool basketball player.

Sheed should do malt liquor endorsements. Slurring his way into ETOH.
D C my favorite Power Forward. DOG
i love sheed. he’s so drunk all the time hahah
Barring injury Derick Coleman would have been the greatest power forward of his time 🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🫡

DC was a monster early in his career.
Sheed sound high and drunk as the same time 😂

DC sounds like a bully, I don't know how arrogance and bullying makes you a good person.
It's not bullying. It is more like the old ragging the youngin. Once everything is good it's good.
