When you have a widescreen aspect ratio the games tend to have some visual oddities such as in this game's case where everything appears stretched. To fix this one, you need to enable some widescreen hacks. To do this you need to first start the game. Once it runs for a few seconds you can close out of the game window and go into the console. In there find a line that looks like this: *ELF (cdrom0:\SCUS_972.64;1) Game CRC = 0xD5605611, EntryPoint = 0x00100008* (should be blue). Once found keep in mind the alphanumeric after 'Game CRC = 0x'. Now go into the directory for PCSX2 in the cheats_ws folder and open the zip in there. Find the .pnach file that matches the alphanumeric you found earlier. Extract that file and paste it into the cheats folder in the PCSX2 directory. Go back into PCSX2 and under System click on Enable Cheats. Now that should fix the game being all wonky. You should also do this for any other games as well because it will fix a lot of the visual issues that come up.

@@TheKawaiiCollector I was Gabe Logan, Gabe Logan 2/3/4 etc. I would be a T4 and give up that character so I could start over or I'd delete my game save to clear up space for other games
The highest I ever got was T3 back in the day. I tried to find some cheats to let me get the team par time ratings, but it was impossible back then. I found a site a few months back when I played this casually that had the cheats to get me to T4; so that was cool.

Yeah interesting find at the end of Carthage one. I think (maybe) if you get a death it might skip dialog if it happens at the same time.
