Thanks for sharing this information. Please, I will like to get a link to the video you talked about. List of things to do in order to become a successful locum pharmacist. Thanks.
Oh yes we all believe that pharmacists are underpaid for the work we contribute to the society, but definitely not to the point that you cant afford things. To the average person, you are well to do! Thank you for your comment.
The information you dish out are always in tangent with my thoughts as an intending immigrant pharmacist to the UK. Thank you for being you. God bless all that you do.
Hello Faith , I , really like your videos ! So much valuable information on various pharmaceutical topics ! I would like to work as a locum , I don't really mind about locum being monotonous , but I am not good with organizing my schedule .Could you possibly suggest an agency to register with ? Do I have to find locums by myself using the mobile apps , or the agency I register with , can help me with that as well .Thank you ! Greetings from Greece !
Hi Alexandros, my best advice would be to join the “locate a locum” app. This would be after you have joined the pharmacy register. All the best when you do get here!
Insightful video, thanks alot. However, I'd appreciate contents that can help international pharmacists looking to migrate to the UK ace their ospap exam in less that 3 attempts.
@@faiththepharmacist Also, it will be nice to know what job options are available to international pharmacists who are dependants in the UK, to better familiarize them to pharmacy practice and laws guiding the profession pending the period they are able to save up funds for the ospap course. I really don't know how best to put my thoughts out here but I understand that many new immigrants in the UK are skilled professionals who may require conversion courses to fully be licensed to practice and I'm aware some take up care jobs , pharmacy assistant roles and all. How would you advise pharmacists in such category to navigate their ways so as not to remain stuck on low skilled jobs for too long?
If I am not registered in UK as a pharmacist and have come to UK for studying master by an award could I catch any locum job opportunity like that or it is deprived at all I am pharmacist registered in my country but not UK. I would like to know if it is possible or not at all? Thank you in advance
Lol And it even depends on the state you are Lagos is the best paying, other states are even worse And the locum pharmacist works almost same hours as the full time including weekend if the person doesn't negotiate well...
My dear shame catch me. The money she makes a day is way more than d amount an average pharmacist in naija makes monthly, infact it's twice in some months as most states still pay pharmacist 120- 150k. Chai!
Definitely more is earned in the community in the short term but if you’re ambitious under the NHS you can gradually build yourself to earning 6 figures even. Less room for progression in community
I love how transparent, honest and helpful you are. You're one of a kind?

Your video is so insightful. I almost gave up when I read somewhere that Pharmacists were highly underpaid and couldn't afford a lot of things.

Hi hun, thank you for your comment. Do you mean “OSPAP exam” or OSPAP course and GPHC exam?
Taking notes to better improve my content x 😊
@@faiththepharmacist Ospap courses, the Gphc exam altogether and generally, pharmacy law in the UK.

Send me a message on Instagram when you are ready. I wish you all the best!
Where do you work as a full time Pharmacist
Hi, please I wish you relocate to UK, but the OSPAP school fees is just to much. Any scholarship opportunity. Cos it is over 7 million naira
Hello, unfortunately there are no scholarships for OSPAP at the moment. If any comes up I will be sure to share
I think may be chevening but I am not sure
Chevening is available for Brighton uni.
👍👍 I always love you content, it was really insightful. I hope to win
Can a Nigerian pharmacist work as a pharmacy technician with his/her Bpharm degree?
Yes you can but only while you’re doing something else as there are hardly any technician jobs that offer visa sponsorship
Thank you
how is this tax stuff like for a UK pharmacist

Hello guys I want to help me,I am a pharmacy assistant in Greece and I want a locum agency to help me
As a pharmacist looking to relocate your videos have been very insightful for me📞📞
Can you locum in community Pharmacy twice a week and also have a full time job as a hospital pharmacist?
Yes you can as long as your employer is aware and they allow it.
🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️
Where do you earn more ? Community or hospital?
Definitely more is earned in the community in the short term but if you’re ambitious under the NHS you can gradually build yourself to earning 6 figures even.
