Around 14:50, I would've gotten the defiance band and taken the KO on the bird with the Luxray. Then you can retreat it for free on the next turn and get the last prize card with the bear. I'm glad you pulled out the dub, though.
I would love to see another live stream! Especially with decks like this where we can witness the plays in real time! And the throws 😂
I just beat this deck last night w/ Bolt. I was not expecting the Ray to knockout an Ogerpon.
I targeted the Slowbro when my opponent played it early.
Almost got Bear swept but prime catcher is goat.
You had the win way early with slowbro in your first game. When you put him in 1 prize, you was able to play Arvin, find a ultra ball, choose slowbro, evolve slowpoke, then Pidgeot for the energy , retreat to slowbro and done
He had three prize cards when the opponent was down to one and Slowbro needs two energy.
I lve this deck! One thing I haven't figure out yet: How to win a Sudden Death? It is easy to get by taking the last prize with Dusknoir/Dusclops. But I haven't figure out how to win the Sudden Death. When I got one, I did three Sudden Death in a row :P
I thought BloodMoon was ON, but nope... Can't use Luxray either. The only options I saw were two energies on Pidgeot or Slowbro
I’m playing a lot of Dragapult rn but even in that deck the Thorton Dusknoir combo is one of my favorite ways to blindside a 4 prize turn out of nowhere

First game, could’ve Thornton into any basic, Quick Search for Rescue Board, retreat into Luxray for the KO.

A double-edged deck that you have a very high spatial awareness to use it. Not for average guy like me but i can rectify when taken chance

I tried Charizard ex for the first time a few days ago and I prized my 2 Pidgeot my cleffa and my Rotom V 💀
And I still won cause Charizard deck has the power of magical top deck 😂

at around 16:00 couldnt you have just quick searched rescue board, attach to bear, swap bear with bird, then free retreat bird with bear and swing again?
That's 2 retreats.
What about get stretcher with quick search. Thornton to pidgey. Rare candy to pidgeot then stretcher bear back. Free retreat the bird into resurrected 🐻. Attack.

@@LittleDarkFury It's a cool idea but I feel I've found more success using ditto rescue board and vengeful punch are more reliable and faster
This was the first deck I played after tournament but didn't like. I prefer pidgeot control.
people that play control decks should have their own league. stall decks aren’t fun to play with or against
@@chrisz9335 Meh, Control are some of the more skill intensive decks we usually have. If cant win with combo or Aggro decks, it is either on u or the deck building
