More than just the money, this marriage would be a great example of a couple truly sharing a life together. And understanding one anothers goals & dreams and to do what it takes to see each other succeed.
Look into how many of the private equity firms make their money. It makes them extremely rich while making everything unaffordable for the middle classes. They do things like buying up every plumbing firm in an entire region and then double the prices of every job, and if anyone says, "that sounds expensive", they say, "ask around any of the guys around, that's what such a job costs". What they fail to mention to the home owner is all of these different businesses are owned by the same company. They do this across different kinds of business segments and trades. There are stories (video interviews online) of small businesses who try to compete with them and take them on business wise by offering fair prices and not selling out to them, so the private equity firm finds a way to drag them through the courts in the most litigious and ruthless manner to try to destroy them. Private equity needs sensible regulation. The marketplace is a good thing, but greedy people will find ways to abuse any system.
She still is the beautiful girl Frances from the movie Crossroads, she broke Eugene’s heart, gave him the blues when she left him early one morning and headed out to California to become a dancer. ✌️
Wow, I would have never thought she would become so rich. Even more important than the money is the long relationship with her husband and 4 children. Truly rich indeed.

Have you seen her in “Don’t tell her it’s Me”? She was amazing in that and really got to showcase her comedic skills. Insanely good music track as well.
two thumbs up to Jami Gertz for not only being the underdog that made it BUT setting an example, America needs more examples vs what crazy-ness we have now
Always my number one since Solarbabies. Also, there was always a special thrill in throwing her name out there when people asked, "Who is the most beautiful celebrity?" It was like having special arcane knowledge because not many people asking that question would have recognized her name but I knew I was absolutely correct. Probably would have favored her sooner but I was only six in 1981 and preferred toy dinosaurs then.
I remember seeing her in the Lost Boys and trying to find out who she is. She’s so beautiful and I’m glad she found someone to love and raised a family! I think she’s awesome purchasing sports tens as well! Congratulations to her and her family!
I’ve always liked her in sitcoms, but had no idea of her wealth. I always thought Julia Louis-Dreyfus or Salma Hayek were considered the wealthiest actors due to their connections to family money or husband’s money. The fact that she had more money at the beginning of their relationship and now together they have grown to be billionaires is amazing! Kudos to Jami, and thanks for all the times you made us laugh!
What a refreshing report about a Hollywood beauty. I am so pleased to hear a positive story about truly nice people. I hope they make even more money. Blessings on them and this YT channel.
Oh wow! I had no idea. I've always enjoyed her work but didn't know much about her. She did a great job portraying Gilda Radner in a tv biopic years ago.
She was “annoying” Boots St. Claire on The Facts of Life. Short lived character who was probably designed to be a rival for Blair, but they didn’t seem to know how to write her. I still loved the character, and loved what Jami did with her despite so little on the page.
I've always loved her movie roles and her role on Seinfeld was hilarious. She always seem to have a "shine" to her. It's nice to see her life has turned to be more than she had imagined. This made my heart smile knowing life turned out good for her! Because life has kicked my ass, unfortunately.
Talk about an amazing story out of all the horrible stories we have seen from so many other actors. The two of them together look perfect, and I dont normally say that about many married couples in hollywood, well maybe like Matt Damon LOl.. Oh and she looks fantastic at 58. Thankfully she didnt get caught up doing all the plastic surgery to her body and face and destroying the natural beauty she has always had.
I remember her when she was a kid in those teenage roles. Lost Boys fantastic movie. I always thought she was cute. Square Pegs quirky show but I watched because of her. Never would I have guessed her net worth. Probably I would say 5 million since she had all these support roles. Always enjoyed her as an actor in whatever role she played. 8 billion? Owns the Hawks? Charitable? My Compliments! Most surprising video I've seen in years.
Came here after i read an article about the richest actresses along TS, Riri, Selena & Madonna. Wow she trippled way richer than these singers combined. 🔥🔥🔥
Her iconic line for me will always be “Rough Tots Eat Kool Jello!” It’s the answer she gave in a school competition on Square Pegs when she was supposed to name the 5 presidents after Hoover.
She & her husband are prime examples of 2 people coming from nothing, & building an empire together. Self discipline, motivation, & being fealess of taking risks. 'Merica!
