It really looks awesome! I idly wish to make games too some day, please take pride that you've started the journey, the first steps are most important. And especially if this is your first project, don't be afraid to borrow and cobble together random things from other people, it's okay in your first l steps to experiment with concepts beyond your production.
Thank you! Yeah, it's my first solo project and I'm essentially doing the opposite of what every game dev says. That is: start small, make multiple mini games, don't use so much detail or colours... 😅😅 Good luck with your journey! And if I could suggest, if you want to make a game too, start now. Because however small or big it will be, it will take a lot of time, sometimes years.
Ah, but you're being fooled by my awesome tiles! Haha, thank you, but seriously. I've only laid out some tiles in a map, it even took me about 30+ minutes to kind of understand how layering works 😅😅
Thank you, my guy! The thing is, I'm not doing anything special, I'm just following a tutorial. The only thing I have experience with is art/animation 😅. I don't stream, I don't even know how to RUclips properly
It's the first time I make water tiles, and I agree with what you're saying. I'll try to make variants in the future. Can you believe that these tiles are made of about 5 layers, and each moves in different direction 😅?
They look super nice together! Very promising. :3
Thank you very much!

As other have stated, I agree it looks good! I would put some background music at least in the videos :) If you're not interested in maybe talking :D
I can't find a good enough music for my cheap ass 🥲 But yeah, I'll try. Also I agree with the above stated
Noice same thing on my end lol. subbing
Good luck in your endeavours! And remember, have me for an example on how NOT to game dev 😅
I just barely did my first tutorial guided game build, this looks like top tier work to me 😅😅

@ItsYourFault-hi4jv did you follow some tutorial for this? I'm also looking to make a top down game, and yes, your tiles are awesome :D
@@dygon7663 Yep and here it is: ruclips.net/video/it0lsREGdmc/видео.htmlsi=Vk8WrUvwQw2Y1RGO
Good luck, my dude! Also thank you :D
@@ItsYourFault-hi4jv Awesome, exactly what I was looking for!
@ I'm glad that I actually helped with something 😄😄

Looking promising for zero experience! Do you stream also? I bet people would be happy to help your journey, including myself.

Thank you! It's basically nothing still, and I have no idea how a lot of the stuff still works

Haha! Thank you as well! I'm trying my best... at making assets...only right now, not gonna lie 😅
For me the water is too busy, maybe reduce the FPS slightly? Looks great otherwise!
