I love the blue for these roses. Funny I just got my zigs out this week for the first time in ages. Most everyone I know that uses the zig markers use bristol smooth paper but I have discovered that I have better luck and prefer my fabriano artistico paper. I should try the Bristol again. What was the brand and size of your brush? Would like to see if I can find it.
They are water-based which makes them great for watercoloring. They also have a brush tip - like a paint brush. you can also straight-color with them too but I like them for watercoloring
