I love silhouette cards. For one thing they’re easy and look great. I love how yours came out. The black soot on the bottom made all the difference. Beautiful blending.
Gorgeous card! I love that purple! And it looks amazing with the black on it, & with your background, too. Beautiful. A tip for you- when I have a thin sentiment like you have here & I use the liquid glue, after I set it down I always push it down with a towel in hand. It helps to pick up any glue that oozes out. And when it’s a Distress background, I normally can’t see any re-activation of the ink because of using the towel immediately. Hope that can help you or others too. Mindy, your card is absolutely beautiful. I love the stamp set with all its different layers. The colours you chose go together very well. The splatters are just enough to give it a little extra.
Very cool... this is one I really wish I could see in person. I am a mess with glue... getting better though, but I have had good luck with a damp cloth wiping adhesive off of metallic cardstock.
This is gorgeous! What is the closest color to the vilanious potion oxide? I was thinking the Concord grape? I don't have the vilanious potion oxide:( I have a few silhouette stamps I would like to try this with.
i think wilted violet would look great with this technique. Might pop from the background a bit more but certainly try the dusty concord too if that is what you have ⭐️

Love the silver matte paper for the sentiment with the inks. Really stands out nicely also with the gems! Great contrast.
