I can’t imagine two thumbs down on your delightful video. But everyone has an opinion. Mine is 5-stars. I loved it. I have been a bit depressed. It’s hot outside, and the days are all the same inside. I was in a slump. Until I watched THIS video. I got up, went to my crafting table and made a somewhat similar card. I loved making it. Your instructions are perfect. I don’t know what happened but I do know I feel better than I have this past couple of weeks. God works in mysterious ways. Thanks for posting your designs. I enjoy them, as you can tell.
Absolutely beautiful. We all get ahead of ourselves in our desire to complete a card. Thank you for including your work around. This design is terrific.
I was searching cardmaking techniques and tripped over this video ... better late than never, hmmm?!? 🤨🙃😂 But, I LOVE love love the watermarking technique and am adding it to our list of prompts that I have for weekly fun with another card making friend. Thanks so much for this, Mindy - it's awesomesauce ... like you! 💝
Thank you for leaving the parts in where you needed to modify your design a bit. It is so helpful to see that and hear your thought pattern. I know what you mean about waiting, I typically do backgrounds the night before I plan on doing the card, otherwise I would have a hot mess every time!
Loved it Mindy! I so often forget the watermark properties of clear embossing inks! What a beautiful card -- and I have so many butterflies -- the cards can be used for so many occasions! Just stunning! And actually, I have a stamp I'm going to use that technique and some blues with, it will be perfect! (It's the Blessed Mother, I went to Notre Dame, I need ways to use that stamp LOL! I've embossed her in gold, watercolored, used colored card stock, colored pencils, but this is a good new one! Thanks!
I love this card especially the water marked background. It looks like a field of butterflies off into the distance. Thank you for sharing this technique.
Dear M - This was a helpful video. We've all been there! You realize, "Oh, poop... I just wiped off [some part] of the stamped design." or "Oh, shoot... I just embossed that stray powder." I am very glad you did not edit and also glad that you did not chuck your card and start over b/c it turned out beautifully. Lori S in PA
I love the look of ink blending on colored cardstock! I do not have any Gina K inks! Can't wait to start my collection....great problem too! Thank you for sharing it all!
SO reaffirming to know that my favorite designers make boo-boos too! There's always a way to "fix"it...love this technique, Mindy!! Gorgeous result but easy! Could make a collection of cards as a little gift-different color palettes. Would be awesome!!
Wow! I love your card and this technique. Thanks for sharing your how you saved the card by adding Perfect Pearls, I wouldn’t have thought to do that! 💕
Don’t we all have those “oops” moments?! Your card turned out beautifully, and I love butterflies, so I may try this blending/stamping approach. TFS, Mindy! 🦋💌
Beautiful! I do not have the hand strength to ink blend, would this work if I ink smoosh a background or use a piece of blue cardstock? Beautiful card!

It won't give the same effect but ink smooshing a background would look lovely.
