XLAA is soo good against glepneir I destroyed it so quickly I was questioning if that was the actual boss fight
Its sad how the Gleipnir was used as a starter boss instead of being a harder final one

Yup, true. tried it in hardest difficulty. The pain is those floating orbs which just destroy you if the plane is slow.

Damn, that SU-27 passed way too fucking close, in the beginning xD But damn - thanks for bringing that game up again fam'! It was one of my favs' back in the day, and I think it still fares amazingly well to this day, especially on emulator.

I am glad my PSP still works
Still think the Gleipnir is for sure one of the coolest bosses in a video game. Huge, menacing, simply a really cool design. Should have been the final boss of the game, and of course way more difficult. The whole game should have been structured on fighting the Gleipnir in the end.
Or it should've been the Gandr at the first half of the game instead, and would have the Gleipnir in the final battle along with the Fenrirs and Alect Squadron over Archelon Fort
Alect Squadron is arguably the best yet exciting dogfighting I experience, especially later in Operation X

Good memories! I still have the PSP, i still have Ace Combat X (and X2) and even the pilot training manual and the Ace Combat world map that came with it.
I really loved this game when I had my psp best game with huge planes with super weapons and shit also with a great story not like the new ace combat games. Hope they do a remake or learn from this more

Still playing this game on my phone without any lag and i can say it is very replayable and very fun
PSP had no right to just drop some of the best games from loved series. Like fr Metal Gear, Ace Combat and Monster Hunter all got some of their best games on this console. I'm jealous cos I only got a psp when I was a kid like 4 years after its release and never got to properly experience that console's golden age. Still so many good memories
this game is really insane for it's time! my first PSP game and i love it, the gleipnir, the Fenrir's, that ATH MAAAAAN! in 2006!

Yes, I'm using a PPSSPP emulator with an HD texture pack.
Doubt there are legal ways to download ACX ISO in these times. But hey, as they say in Russia, "If you are not caught, you are not a thief."
you should try to play it on phone, there is psp emus on playstore

You missed two additional bosses:
Z.O.E. and Scarface 1.

What do you mean?
In "Operation X", if you clear out the rest of the targets fast enough in Normal difficulty and above, leave one of the FALKENs alive for a bit and two extra targets will pop up:
Z.O.E. piloting its signature red FALKEN and Scarface 1/Phoenix piloting his signature XFA-27.
On Ace difficulty, the latter is straight-up the hardest dogfight in the franchise.
@@ProfessionalNamielleLewder69 I never knew that, gonna have to charge my PSP again, I thought the most complicated one was with the Varcolack Squadron in AC joint assault, when you shooted missiles their planes made a very strange evassive maniover like a loop
@@Carly1405 Varcolac's bullshit manuevers are also being done by Scarface 1/Phoenix in Joint Assault's "Ace of Aces" mission, where he's once again the final superboss.
