I don't know if it is because I have now been driving the Porsche cup car over a month, and I am more accustomed to the car, but I find it easier to drive since the update.
It may be the setup for snetterton. I test drove it after the update at Watkins and the front end felt pointier to me. Almost bought it. One of these days...
After 15 years of experience as a DJ I can confirm no one cups their headphone whilst scratching 🤣...probably why he went off i suppose 😜 Definitely need two hands on the wheel around Snetterton, such a tricky circuit. Great video mate and solid result considering! I didn't know this had had a tyre update, interested to check it out now.
oh no, i was that no. 4 car at the start :D Didn't know we were 3 wide and therefore didn't left enough space to the right. Later my game crashed mid corner anyways, so nothing would have changed my result i guess. Well, shit happens...
I’ve been practicing with the Porsche but I’m struggling to figure braking out. I’m also using linear pedals which I think might make it harder than load cells. I guess I just need to practice a lot more 😅
I am strugling to adapt. I agree when you say the front has a vague feeling to it now, trailbreaking seems less efficient. Also the rear overpowers the balance, it steps on me mid corner. Finnaly, some high speed corners are no longer flat, like eau rouge, for instance, which corroborates the weakened front theory. Anyway, do you have any tips on how to cope with the new handling? Please, any direction can help. Cheers, and keep it up Dave :))

hi Dave not sure id like the idea of people knowing if my incident count was high (what ever high means) could result in people intentionally disqualifying by making contact. Not something i think should be shared from CrewChief... would much prefer damage feedback.
This car made me almost quit iracing. I really cant get it under control i dont know what ik doing wrong but somehow i cant properly break or turn properly in certain turns. Im on linear pedals though...car locks up so easily with only maybe 40% braking input. Also when i brake earlier somehow car seems like a boat in slow coners?
Dave, what headphones are you using? I currently have over ear headphones. When I do zoom meetings it looks ridiculous. Im looking for comfortable good quality in ear audio.
I also heard you say it’s easier to lock up. I haven’t driven on dry yet but your brake bias is also really far forward. I think the furthest forward I’ve ever ran was -5.99 on the dash usually my happy place is -7.47 but again I haven’t driven in the dry with update
Braking is no good, and it’s impossible to know or feel the limit. The rest is good and I think they just should add abs and then the class would be absolute awesome.

I think it was just referring to his safety rating in general not actually the incidents in the race

my 2 cents. iRacing needs to get rid of slowdowns. It's a sim so why not simulate the real world penalties?
