No GliVtch. You're a fucking moron. Joel is where he is BECAUSE of his musical genius. If you're not a real mau5 fan then gtfo of here. Did the mouse head add crazy amount of branding? Of course it did. But that came around after he made it in the scene. Joel did something for house, no EDM that no other artist was willing to do; he made new samples and used those samples to create incredibly deep music. He made songs that sounded simple to the uninitiated, but upon closer listen was deep and layered unlike anything else. It made you want to move, or get lost in a distant world. TLDR: fuck you. And props to ddvniek, I was thinking exactly the same thing, all those stupid phones, no one is moving. Get dancing or gtfo.

Rene Alvarez it wouldn't be fair to compare deadmau5 crowds to other edm crowds. deadmau5 music is good just to simply listen, so that's probably why the crowd is so chilled.
Alex White I'm not comparing it to other edm crowds, since I'm attending two nights this month in L.A.I'd like the crowd to be more into than this crowd. I'm a huge fan so I'd be super into the show. 👍
I always wondered this. I like maybe only 5 or 6 Deadmau5 songs but whenever I go look at a set of his on RUclips they look pretty boring. But I guess your're right. Its just not really that big of dancing music and more of just really good atmosphere music. This new cube looks sweet tho.
I'm a 37 year old programmer dad who can't / won't go to a "Festival" because I'd feel so out of place. However, in a chill, regular seeming concert crowd like this.. I may feel at home. I would rather not have people chanting, or clapping, or doing absurdly crazy stuff. I also don't care to see 10 different acts. I go to see the main act, and the openers. *Side Note* my 10yo daughter wanted to go as deadmau5 for halloween. I built her a perfect DM head. Cost me about 100 dollars. Probably the most epic costume on the strip. So many 'teens' to her and even people I knew were in their 20s were like "YAAAAA" & High fives. I could see (in a few years) taking her to a concert like this with some of her friends and not worrying TOO MUCH about the crowd being so cringe-worthy. Lewdness and disrespect (seemingly a festival thing) are no comparison to a few curse words here and there.

I remember watching joel work on this show on Twitch and then seeing it live just blew my mind on how much more technical this was than i even could imagine. Ive never seen another performer in any entertainment put on a show like this. nothing has come close.
