The Immune System: Innate Defenses and Adaptive Defenses

  • There are so many critters out there, bacteria and viruses that want to wreak havoc in our bodies. How do we defend ourselves against such tiny threats? The immune system! This is quite possibly the most profoundly remarkable aspect of the human body. It almost defies comprehension, the resourcefulness and efficiency of this system. An in-depth analysis will require an entire separate immunology course which will come in the future, let's just get our feet wet for the moment!

@@ProfessorDaveExplains I might not have been clear lol. Of course superheroes are unscientific. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of 'what if' type thing. I constantly try to explain why The Flash is one of, if not the most powerful superheroes out there. Sure there are other videos doing breakdowns of all sorts of things, but I just love how you took down the flat earthers. It was simple. It was funny. It was amazing. Best thing I've seen in a long time. I went and watched more of your videos in different categories and loved every single one of them.
