I love my trail terrain! Honestly I like it better then the bf ko2! I’ve driven it about 20k miles on the road and at least 60-70 on trails! This thing is great!!!
Yes, they are great, they are very fuel efficient, and offer amazing on road quietness.
Hi, how is it on asphalt road in summer? I know its good on ice and snow what about hot roads?

Can't speak for the newest ko2 but have had the older BFG All terrain T/As, three sets, Never had an issue with wet weather handling on road rain or snow. In deep snow had wanted something more radical a couple of times but those tires always took me there and back. Have had general grabber a/ts. Not impressed with those. Do well in wet but handling not as good as the BFG All terrain. I'm interested in trying out some Mickey Thompson Baja boss a/ts next
Its a good option. If you are looking for wet traction also consider Falken Wildpeak AT3w and Sumitomo Encounter AT as well.

I can’t imagine buying a tire that performs worse than ko2 in rain onroad
The KO2s are now coming in with latest gen silica compound, so they get to be better in wet now (compared to before), though still they can't outperform Falken Wildpeak AT3w, but you can say their traction is on par with Toyo AT3.
Never had a problem with my KO2s in the rain. Best tire I ever had
I've had half a dozen sets from a Jeep CJ to Tahoes and my 09 Duramax, and they've all been great! Especially here in the Rockies.

@@JuanManuel-fm9jt while your just trash talking one thing you should realize is that they made different rubber compounds in the tire over the years. They are not all created equal. Even the first got real hard as they wore and didn’t perform well on wet roads. It’s Gen 3 for BF now and should be better.
Hello, I have ko2 right now and it's a bit worn, and I'm about to buy new tires. I deviate very little, but the pavement in my city is not good, there are many holes and with normal agency tires they broke, that's why I bought ko2 and I liked them a lot, but the question is which one to buy now the ko2 is expensive but I get it I can afford it, trail terrain is cheaper but I don't know if it resists the holes in my city, which are many and sharp, also in my city it rains a few times a month and I constantly go out on the road, I like the resistance of ko2 but I have doubts about which one buy now thank you
In case of pavement, KO2 is overkill. You don't need as much durability there. So its best you stick to tires which are great for roads. Staying in all-terrains, you can check out, Continental Terraincontact A/T (amazing dry and wet pavement traction), Firestone Destination AT2 (amazing for fuel), or Yokohama G015 (great tire if comfort is your priority)

Well that depends on your driving needs, KO2 is a good all rounder with a lot of durability, Terrain Terrain does better on pavements, and snow.
I like the look but it never rains here. I prefer quiet and better ride which would that be?
Hey @paulsmart2078, if quietness and ride comfort are priorities and considering it doesn't rain much in your area, perhaps leaning towards a tire with a less aggressive tread pattern and known for its on-road manners might be ideal. Between BF Goodrich Trail Terrain and All-Terrain KO2, the Trail Terrain may offer a quieter ride. However, other options on the market might suit your needs even better!
@@comparethetire the issue is I like the beefy look of terrain or all terrain. But I was quiet comfort. Probably not going to happen

My experience with the Trail Terrain …BAD experience..
We live on a hillside coffee land with 4x4 road only.
My wife’s car is 2020 Jeep Compass Trail
Hawk…after installing the BFG Trailhawk, at first I thought the Jeep Compass 4x4 system was not great…our Trail terrains did not last 10,000 miles. Replace with the BFG KO2…WOW huge difference,rarely sipping and sliding, tons of traction with the KO2s..
Glad it was not the Jeep Compass 4x4 system..it was the tires (trail terrains - no traction)
It rains a lot , 4x4 everyday…dirt, mud and some parts pave..
We also own 4x4 tundra , TRD Tacoma both with BFG KO2s..
If you are going to do any off roading? Stay with the KO2s…both offer same mileage warranty…Aloha

When it comes to A/T tires, they both aren't so great for wet traction, and for winter, BFG KO2 does better on deep snow, while its peer is a better pick for on-road packed up snow.

Not happy with this Trail Terrain. 2020 Jeep Compass Trailhawk. Very little traction…4x4 coffee land roads..
Also own 4x4 Tacoma TRD and 4x4 tundra both have BFGS A/T…way better tires..
