I would say you mileage may vary. I would say I haven't had issues, but some grips are thicker and spongier so it makes a bit of a difference. Tacki-mac wrapped are thinner than their sand version, Lizard Skins are probably the thickest and ButtEndz are thin.
Have you tested which one is the heaviest? I’m using Tacki-macs only and I feel like it adds too much weight on my stick so I’m thinking about switching to other alternatives...
Do the grips, specifically the taki-mac, impact your ability to feel the puck? Does it feel bulkier than regular tape?
