My Take on the Corona Virus as a Person with RA

I had to share how I was feeling about the Corona Virus. I hope this video helps show someone how important it is for us to practice safety for not only ourselves but for others. Everyone stay safe and protected.

Great points. I was diagnosed around the same time that the virus was being hyped. I made a different decision than most patients and have not taken DMARDS or biologics. My social life was not impacted at all. I did what I've always done to protect against cold and flu without any changes. We went out to eat, went to see live music at the bars, and continued to visit family with no problems. I really didn't have time to buy into the virus hype, because I was too busy studying the immune system and health in general.

I have RA on biologics too and just made a video about the fact that I’m living full time in my tiny caravan and it’s reassuring seeing other chronic illness warriors like me sharing their stories so thank you! 😍

I was officially diagnosed today with Inflammatory and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I've been prescribed immunosuppressants and I'm not sure how to even go about this right now with all that is going on.

La Renee' I’m sooo sorry to hear that you were just diagnosed! You’re definitely in my thoughts. Your rheumatologist will let you know if you should stop/alter your medications if it is needed.
